Our Last Goodbye

If you ask me,
"How long will you love me?"
Then I'll say,
"Forevermore"
Because it doesn't matter,
Even if you don't feel the same,
Or have forgotten who I am,
Because I'll always be wanting more.

If you ask me,
"When did you start loving me?"
Then I'll say,
"I'll never know",
Because every day I see you,
I feel as if I'm falling again,
And falling even more,
From when I met you long ago.

If you ask me,
"How much do you love me?",
Then I'll say,
"There are no words",
Because even if I looked through every book,
Every dictionary,
It will never describe how when you're near,
My heart flutters like wings of birds.

If you ask me,
"Why do you love me?"
Then I'll say,
"It must be fate"
Because never in my lifetime,
Did I think I'd find someone like you,
Because in the end,
For you, I'll forever wait.

If you ask me,
"When will you stop loving me?"
Then I'll say,
"Not even when I die"
Because not even when the Earth grows sour,
The stars lose their light,
And the flowers lose their petals,
Will be our last goodbye.
