Leaving me behind

I think that I'm losing you,
You're slipping through my fingers,
Like sand in an hourglass,
Fading away.

You're slowly forgetting me,
Maybe I'm the one who's fading,
Maybe I'm the one who's leaving you,
Alone in the darkness.

I didn't think,
That it would happen so soon,
So quickly and so irreversibly,
That we'd never be us again.

I have no more sight,
Than a blind man,
For I am lost without you,
I am nothing.

Do you remember me?
It's okay if you don't,
Because I wouldn't either,
Not when I could have anyone else.

You're leaving me behind,
And it's killing me,
Because I can see it,
Happening.
