I enter my dorm and rush towards the washroom to get rid of the grime I have earned from today's preparation. After a quick shower, I quickly wear my calf-length lavender coloured gown. I comb my wavy brown hair thoroughly, leave it open instead of tying it into a ponytail and wear a wreath of small flowers, whose names I never bothered to learn. I wear my earrings and my wedges, and apply some make-up. I then quickly wear my ring, which I have grown quite fond of. After looking at myself in the mirror, I breath in few times, correct my posture, grab my clutch, check it if I have kept my meds and head out of my dorm.
When I turn around to lock my door, I hear a door, I hear a door open down the corridor. I look and what I see pops my eyes out of it's socket.
There stands Axel, smartly dressed in a tuxedo with a sarcoline coloured tie in his hand. His facial hair is well groomed and his hair was tied in a small ponytail, just the way I saw him on the day I woke up, with his scar on forehead partially covered like always. The way he adjusted his collar is a clear indication that he is not used to wearing them. He looks at me and walks down the corridor towards me.
" Cassie, if you are not careful, a fly might enter your mouth", Axel says with a chuckle.
I quickly close my mouth. My face is as red as rose and I start to wonder, how can someone be so handsome.
He continues, " My, my, you look beautiful".
" You are no less handsome", I say blushing. I look at his tie in his hand and ask him," why are you not wearing your tie?"
" I don't know how to tie a tie. I thought that I would better ask Justin or Nack about this".
" I can help you", I say, trying not to make it obvious that I am eager to tie the tie around this neck.
" Are you sure?", he asks.
" I know to tie it", I say with a smile.
" Just don't choke me", he says. I look at his face which looks serious, but I catch the mischievous glint in his eyes.
I pout and take the tie from him. It's taking my whole will-power to not look at him while tying the tie around his neck. Three twist of the fabric and I finish it. I quickly let go of his tie.
" All done", I say smiling.
He looks at his tie and gives me grateful smile and says," Thank you".
" No problem", I reply.
" Will you mind if I tag along?", he asks.
I nod my head and we head out. We reach the guild to see that most of seats in the guild are occupied.
" Cassie!", I turn and see Freya walking towards me. Her gown is a lavender coloured like mine and she had her hair made in a bun decorated with small floral pins.
" Yeah?", I ask.
"We must be at the entrance, ASAP".
I excuse myself from Axel and go near the entrance. Lucia is already present with the same coloured gown and her blonde hair is styled in a half up bow. She is holding a bouquet of white lilies.
" Where is Mariana?", I ask.
Lucia points her finger towards a room near the entrance and says in her characteristic formal way," She seems nervous". I walk in the room and see Mariana sitting there in her wedding gown. Her hair is braided in floral design with considerable amount of floral pins. She has pulled her veil back and she is biting her lips, a clear sign of nervousness.
