The booth opens up with the smoke gushing out for extra dramatic effect. Axel and I, along with the warrior who is accompanying us, walk out of the booth and I see a man standing at the entrance of the teleportation room. The man sports raven hair, along with moustache and beard, and he appears to be in his 50's. Basically, that man is an exact replica of Kace, minus the hair colour, his facial hair and his age.

"Uncle Leo!" Axel exclaims and sticks his hand out for a handshake.

"Hey buddy! Long-time no see!" and he proceeds to shake his hand but suddenly grabs on Axel and pulls him into a hug. "Did Lucia's habits rub on you? Stop being so formal. You are my nephew after all". Then he looks at me and says, "Cassie, it's good to see you doing well. Father sent us a letter about your awakening and my! Minerva is excited and is acting like a kid", he chuckles and he pats my head in a fatherly way.

"It's good to see you too, Uncle Leo. How is Aunt Minerva doing?" I ask.

"Oh! Woman is doing fine! She misses you a lot. After our business, why don't we have dinner at my place?" he offers. "Sounds good!" both Axel and I reply and he leads us out of the room.

Leonardo Duncan. He is the eldest son of Gramps and also Kace's father. He works for His Majesty as a warrior. You see, when he was young, Uncle Leo had put forward a proposal to Gramps that there should be at least one family member in the Warriors. That way, we can always be updated and be one step quicker when it comes to national crisis and other stuff. Gramps and Axel's foster father, Louis liked the idea and thus Uncle Leo joined the warriors. And after so many years, Uncle Leo is now the commander of Interrogation, Capturing and Information Brigade of warriors. He is also known as 'The Glass Nexus' throughout the kingdom. Also he is a Super-class mage and a honorary member of the guild.

"Sorry for calling you here on a short notice", he apologizes to Axel as we walk down the open corridor which overlooks the walled city of Crux. Crux is a city near the Bermiara Sea and is situated on the Crux hill. It has a population of about 8 million people. His Majesty's residence, which is actually a mansion rather than a castle, is the highest point of this city. You can see many houses, shops, businesses and apartments yet the greenery is never compromised. In other words, Crux is the pride of Solumra Empire.

"No problem at all. We had taken this opportunity to meet you guys, so this is totally worth it", replies Axel with a smile. We reach a large door with a board saying 'Interrogation Brigade' and Uncle Leo opens it. Unlike the officers I had seen in Asaria, here, everyone is busy like bees. I can't even find a single warrior idle. When Uncle Leo walks in, everyone ceases their activities and does the Solumra Empire salute, which is basically holding your right hand in a victory sign and placing it over your heart, and then continuing with their duties as if nothing has happened. He then leads us through a door which says 'Interrogation Chambers', which opens to a corridor with doors lined up side by side. He walks up to the door at the far right end of the corridor and opens the door for us to enter. In the room, there are three warriors standing and looking at the glass window with a multi-holed panel below it. We look through the glass window and sight we see shocks us down to the core.

The room beyond the window would have completely dark if it weren't for a lamp hanging from the ceiling, giving off bright white light and illuminating the white walls and floor. In the centre of the room stands a table and two chairs - one of them is occupied by a man who is in handcuffs. These handcuffs are not ordinary ones. They are essence restraining handcuffs which prevent the wearer from using their essences in case they do something funny. But that is not what shocked me. The man is bruised. He has small cuts on his face and a black eye and his bruises are purple. The blood which had poured out of his mouth had dried out. In short, he was a mess.
