And things are somehow getting worse! Or at least that's what Deceit was thinking to himself. Why? He had somehow managed to lose the one side he was supposed to be watching. It was his job to watch Remus and make sure he didn't 'snap' or 'act out' negatively towards the others. He had turned his head for just one moment only to find that it was apparently enough time for Remus to vanish.

Deceit had thought about going and asking the others. Actually, that was where he went. It wasn't first. No, first he checked Remus's room. He didn't spend much time there. As soon as he opened the door to see he wasn't there he took off running towards the playground in the backyard. The one Remus build when they were younger and still hangs out every once in a while. When he wasn't there, he went and checked his own room just in case Remus was trying to put on one of Dee's costumes. It's wouldn't have even been the first time that week.

When he couldn't find him he walked himself over to the light sides portion of the palace only to stop when he saw them all chatting away as if everything was a fucking perfect Disney movie. Deceit was so sick of their happy go lucky lives. It didn't matter Remus didn't seem to be...

Deceit spotting a crumbled up cup on the floor and he tensed up. They didn't even bother to pick it up. Had Remus been here after all? Surely if it was one of the others the cup would have been picked up. Instead, it was just lying there on the floor forgot about. The snake groaned as he went back to the dark part of the palace. Sure enough, Remus's door was open again. He must have returned when he was looking elsewhere.

"Ray?" Dee pushed the door open a little more to see Remus just sitting there with his fist clenching and unclenching. Things did not go well. "Hey, Ray?" The other barely acknowledged Dee's presence. "Where did you go?" It wasn't like Remus couldn't go anywhere. He wasn't under lockdown. He just, unfortunately, had a tendency to give in to the thought that filled his head. If he wasn't paying attention chances are Remus would end up hurting Roman or scaring Virgil for literally no reason other then the idea popped in his head. It wasn't even a job Dee was forced to take. Remus asked him personally when they were younger. The rat-man had broken down over an event with his twin where Roman spat in his face how he wasn't even his brother. Brothers don't hurt there twin he had said. And being that Remus is as overdramatic and extra as Roman was he took it as Roman hated him and the only way to get his twin back was to make sure he never did anything like that again. You know... Instead of just apologizing and working their crap out.

"I went to get some chocolate milk." Remus whispered as he fell back against the bed. His usually brown eyes now a dark green as his thought raged war in his mind. It was taking everything Remus had not to move. Which is usually what happens when he tries to fight against the onslaught... total freeze up. "Dee and I really that bad of a person?"

"Why would you ask that?" Remus sighed as his head started screaming at him. 'See you already knew the answer', It would say as he stared up at the ceiling. 'Roman was right, plain and simple.' "Ray?"

"No reason." Remus smiled brightly trying to hide the madness within as he jumped and spun around till he was on his stomach with his head in his hands, kicking his feet. He thought maybe Dee could distract him. Dee always manages to distract him. Dee pulls him back in a way no one else has been able to do. Maybe that was because of how Remus cared about Deceit. But then again, Remus did care about Roman too even if his action didn't show it. "If you had a son what would you name him?"

"Draco. Why?" Remus laughed as he rolled over with a smile. Deceit shot him this confused look as he leaned over until he was staring directly down over him. "What's going on with you?"

"Oh, nothing. Just lost in thought." Deceit's eyes flashed with worry but it went unseen by Remus who would probably be described as a giggling mess. "Sabía que te gustaría ese Nombre."

"What? Ray, you know I don't speak Spanish." Remus just smiled seeing Deceit scrunch his nose a bit in confusion. "You sure you're good? I could..."

"Nah, I'm as lively as a goldfish in a condom." Deceit frowned shaking his head at the man only slightly amused at the things he just says.

"That isn't a good thing, Remus. Pleasant metaphors never were your strong suit were they?"

"Nope!"Remus was actually feeling better now that he was talking to Dee. He watched as Deceit got up and stretched only frowning slightly as the man went for the door. "Where you goin'?"

"To sneak some pie. Want some?" Remus shook his head watching the snake leave with narrowed eyes. It's ok. Remus just had to keep out of his own head. That'll work, right? As long as he ignores the thoughts then he won't snap. Yeah... He'll be just fine... he hoped at least.

Someone else was hoping the same thing out in the imagination. His hands slightly shaking as he carefully sipped his tea. Everyone else was enjoying the sun... or shade in Virgil's case, as he sat there on the picnic blanket.  His dyed red hair falling in his face as he sighed. Virgil was right. Out of all the thing Remus could have said, him wanting a child was hardly the worst. Sure, it was... well Roman didn't think Remus could be a dad but an uncle yeah. His anger got the better of his for no reason and he said something horrible to his twin. Roman groaned as he sipped his tea again. The whole purpose of this was to distract him from what had happened. God, what Roman would have done for a dragon witch attack at that moment.

"Well, hello there." Shit.
