"Hey be careful there kiddo." Patton called out as Emile jumped off of a swing yelling 'superman'! Patton had taken the boys out while Logan and Roman decided to search for Rose. Deceit was happy getting outside again, but... He just kept glancing over at the bench Virgil was sitting at expecting Remus to be there but he wasn't. In fact, Deceit hadn't seen Remus at all since all that happened.

He was worried. That had really scared him. But not in the way he probably thought. Deceit was scared for him nor of him. He wanted Remus to come and just cry and let it all out. He wanted to hug Remus and make it all better. They were best friends. He just wanted his friend to be happy.

"Go on and play Deceit," Virgil called out as he spotted the child stopping again with a frown on his face. "Things are gonna be a bit hectic around the mind palace. Might wanna get your fun in now."

"Oh, hush there, kiddo." Patton laughed making the anxious one glare over at him. "I'm sure they'll be plenty enough time for the kids to play."

"Yeah... If Remus was actually coming out to help." Something seemed to flash in the older one's eyes making Virgil narrow his. "Is everything o..."

"Everything good, Sugar... like cotton candy ice cream. It's good and sweet... and a carnival for your mouth." Patton giggled as Deceit screamed down the slide singing part of 'Let it go' from frozen.

"If you're positive..." Virgil whispered shaking himself from his anxious thoughts as he tried to focus back on the kids playing at the park.

"Of course I am, Kiddo." Patton just smiled as he watched the boys play. Things were going to all right.

"If you're positive..." Roman whispered as he glanced through the bags one last time. Patton and Virgil had already taken the boys to the park. He and Logan were supposed to have gone already but Logan had stopped them saying they needed to bring Remus's mace with them. Roman was confused but Logan was insistent.

"Of course I am. We're going to the dark side of the imagination..."Logan smirked as he strapped a bag over his shoulder. "We're leaving Patton and Virgil alone with two boys and Remus, who has still yet to leave his room. And unfortunately... I cannot trust Patton to care for the mace. The man tried to get rid of your sword saying it was to dangerous to have around the palace." Roman frowned as he glanced over at his brother's weapon. He's been wanting to return it to him even going so far as to leave it at the main door but nothing. Logan was right though. It was better if Roman held onto it until it can be returned. "I mean, I do trust Virgil to watch over it but I do not think it wise to add to his anxiety."

"No, you're right. It's better if I keep it... for now." Logan beamed as Roman strapped it to his back. "I'm just... I don't want anything to happen to it, you know. If anything were to happen to my sword, I would lose it."

"Yes, well I believe he would feel the same. Anyway, are you ready to head out? You are the one showing the way, as I have no idea how to get to his side." Roman only nodded as he and Logan left the palace.

"It's all my fault." Remus sat there on his bed all huddled up as his mind refused to shut up. "I scared them all. I... It was all my fault. God, it was fucking Rose that did it... My creation. It was all my fault." He was shaking terribly as he rocked back and forth slowly. "Deceit... I scared all of them. I... Shit." He gripped his hair tightly as he stared off in the black with wide bright green eyes. They haven't dimmed once and Remus was starting to think they would never go back to being brown. His thoughts rage on never shutting up and always saying the same things. "It's my fault and I... I hurt Virgil. When I have I ever actually attacked anyone besides Logan and Roman... I... I'm sorry. I'm sorry." He cried into his arms as he struggled to breathe. "Lo siento. No sé qué me pasa. ¿Por qué hago esto? No puedo ... lo siento."

He absentmindedly reached out towards the door and suddenly his whole body froze. The air turned cold as he pulled his hand away and laid down, curling up into a fetal position. He won't do it. He CAN'T do it. He fucked up big time and this is the result. Scaring them the way he did... hurting Vee and Roman... He didn't have a choice anymore.

He had to stay away from Deceit.
