When you come into existence things aren't as... easy as some people think. For starters, age is never a set thing. Virgil was 3 when he was created. Emile was 9... This child, who stood there staring at this black door feeling the energy it was giving off, was 7.

There was something about that door. Something that told him he should be going in there and doing something to... help? Help how? What exactly could he do? He doesn't know how he got there. He was in this garden. That was where he had first arrived, laying ina thing of poppy flowers.

He had wandered his way inside letting his childish curiosity get to him until he found his way to the very door he stared at now. There was someone in there in dire need of a nap. He could feel the bad energy seeping through. Part of him wanted to knock, but something was telling him it wouldn't matter. So instead he turned around and walked away. Maybe if he found someone else they could help?

He found his way back into the living room with a sad huff as he looked around, peering over his glasses until he spotted an open door. Soft giggles could be heard and the boy sighed making his way over. He stopped short the moment two kids came tumbling out of the room landing just beneath his feet. Both boys stopped laughing looking up to find the kid smirking underneath his sunglass as he stuffed his hands into his leather jacket.

"Sup." The boy just laughed a bit as he helped the others up. "The names Sleep."

"So Thomas says that the Sleep character is getting a lot of love from the fanders." Logan called back as they trudged through the dark wasteland that was Remus's part of the imagination. It wasn't that imagination looked like this specifically because it was Remus's, it was that the darker creativity hardly ever used it. Roman was actually feeling down about that. He fully expected there to be something... like nightmares or fish with feet instead if fins... Just something. There wasn't anything... wasn't much anyway. Every once in awhile they'll find a small creature. Usually a weirdly colored animal or something like that but for the most part, it was empty. "Virgil was even mentioning how we might end up with a new side considering how well Emile did too."

"Speaking of Emile, how's he doing?" Roman just really wanted to swerve the convo onto his brother but the way Logan's eyes lit up he wasn't going to miss the opportunity. "He's a sweet boy."

"He's the best boy." Logan whispered out making Roman burst out in laughter. "What?"

"Someone's a proud Papa." Logan started to blush, making Roman laugh even more. "That's good though, Lo. I'm happy for you and Patton both. I really am, I just..."

"I've been wanting to thank Remus." Roman froze up and Logan sighed offering the other a small smile. "I know that's who you wanted to talk about. It's ok. I wanted to as well. I am... concerned."

"He hasn't left his room or if he has I haven't seen him." Roman honestly felt like crying. He hated this. When it came to his brother he just couldn't do anything right. He didn't know what to do. He just wanted to see the man smile. He wanted him to be happy. Was that so much to ask? "I don't even know if he eating... god what if he's like Virgil and he doesn't eat, drink, or sleep after an episode. He could be making himself sick right now and none of us would even know."

"The only thing I can say to try and ease your nerves is... We don't necessarily need to do any of those things to survive." Roman sighed as he wiped his eyes getting rid of the imaginary tears that fell instead of the real ones that wanted to. "I'm sorry, I can't just make everything better."

"No one's asking you to." Roman smiled sadly as he took a deep breath recollecting himself. "I'm just glad you're helping me with this Lo. I don't know if I could have done it alone." Logan nodded smiling a bit himself as the two continued on there way. They didn't know where they were going but they knew what they were looking for.

"Shut up!" The sound of Remus yelling tore through the room only serving to make himself jump. His thoughts have been going at it for so long he couldn't remember the last time he actually slept. He had bags under his eyes that could rival Virgil's. They were red and puffy and forget about his hair. "Just please stop... I get it ok. I get it just... give me a break."

"Fucking shit!" He chucked his pillow against the mirror catching his reflection and frowning. Roman would never have let himself go so bad. The dark side sighed as slowly got up swaying a bit a the lack of self-care finally started to get to him. He was still drowning in the self-hate. He had created Rose. He had created all of them and his favorite of the Dragon witches, the one he cared for the most... She was the one that cursed the man he loved turning him into a child. It was all his fault and he just couldn't let that go. He just couldn't... so he left.

For the first time in a long while, he unlocked his door and left. He didn't doddle though. Remus sped walked as fast as he could through the palace not even bothering to stop at the sound of giggles behind a closed door.

He walked right out of the palace and into the imagination. I would say it was ironic that it started to rain but it wasn't. It was pouring down on the man the moment he stepped out drenching him from head to toe in a matter of second.

Lightning flashed as he made his way through the imagination. He knew where he was going, and it didn't take him long to find it either. He stood there in the raging storm as thunder boomed above him. A cave loomed before him, lit up only by the lightning that streaked across the sky. It was his fault. He had to do something about it.

"It's nice to see you again, Father."
