Intrusive Parenting

It was all his fault. Every little bit of it. Rose was his creation. He created her and she cursed Deceit. Not only that but he hurt Virgil and Roman. He terrified Patton. Emile wasn't even there for a day and... And the look on Deceit's face.

He fucked up. He fucked up big time. Of course, he fucked up. It's Remus. He always finds a way to fuck everything up. He scared the shit out of everyone... save for Logan who wasn't even there. 

Remus just sat there crying as his hands shook, sitting on his bed in his room back in his part of the palace. People have knocked on the outer door. He hasn't moved. He thought he heard Roman once but he cut the connection pretty quickly. Remus didn't want anyone else getting in. He didn't want people to visit. He didn't want to hear how he fucked up. He didn't want to see their faces. He didn't want to get yelled at. He didn't want to listen to their terrified voices again.

So he just stayed there. He hasn't gotten up once since he came back. He hasn't left his room. He hasn't seen Deceit or Roman. He hasn't spoken with Virgil. He hasn't even tried to visit Logan. He's just been there... in silence... or not in silence when his mind decided to break it with its unstable ramblings. How could he have let himself get so... Not even Deceit could break through to him. 

Remus felt his body shake even more violently as he picked his feet up and hugged his knees, sobbing into them as his mind wandered. No wonder Patton visited him. After everything that happened he was surprised anyone would but it made sense that the dad of the group popped in. 

That was why he disconnected his part of the palace after locking the main door. They can't teleport in if it's not technically there. He didn't want to deal with any of it. He didn't want to risk another snap. Not that it mattered much. He couldn't summon his mace. He had left it on their side and since he's no longer connected to it, he's got no way of getting it unless he wanted to actually go over there and retrieve it. And after what Patton sad...

There's no way in hell he's doing that.

It was for the best anyway. Everyone was currently with Thomas. At first, it was very surprising to the host seeing as how Deceit was a child and now there was also a new side. Emile... Roman was quick refusing any and all credit the host tried to give him. After all, it was his brother who had given Thomas the idea and ultimately helped to spur Emile's creation... not Roman.

They were having a Disney movie marathon and Roman kept wanting to ask Remus but every time he brought his brother up someone shot him down. It wasn't until Virgil said Remus would need some time did Roman finally give up. Virgil was worried to but he didn't want to push to much on the dark side to soon. best to let Remus come out on his own than risk something happening and him getting worse.

As time went on Thomas kept glancing over at Emile. He couldn't get this thought out of his head. He looked over at Roman who was staring fondly at his love only to look up and meet Thomas's eyes. The host couldn't help but smile, especially as the creative one began to blush.

"You know, guys..." Thomas started making Roman blush even more as he turned his attention to the tv trying hard to ignore Thomas's laughter. "I've been thinking. I've been doing all these short vids and... I'm thinking a new character might be nice."

"Another new character? Wasn't the creation of Emile's series already putting a strain on your work schedule?" Thomas frowned shooting Logan this look before shaking his head.

"No, I don't mean a new youtube series. I mean a character for my short vids. Like the Dad, Prince, and Teacher character that you three got based off of." Roman's eyes went wide as Thomas continued. "I mean it's about time I did more with them. I love the video's I'm making I just think I could do more, you know."

"What you saying is, kiddo, is that you want a character strictly for the Sanders Shorts... that the fanders would love to see  popping up every so often?" Thomas started nodding enthusiastically as everyone started to laugh. "Well... What are you looking for?"

"I don't know. They have to be someone I can use a lot like with the other characters... but I don't want them to be so generic like... the brain character." Roman was smiling so wide as his thoughts went into overdrive. Thomas knew exactly what the other was thinking and he was already loving it. 

"Look's like I'm going to working overtime..." Everyone laughed as Virgil smirked at himself. "I should probably catch up on my sleep now, huh?" Both Roman and Thomas's eyes went wide as they looked at each other in euphoric shock. "What?"

"SLEEP!"
