Things weren't perfect... but they were so much better than they were before... Remus was actually pretty happy. He was just chilling in the living room watching Big hero 6 lost in his thoughts. He hasn't been able to leave the bedroom in so long that we was content with just relaxing in the living room.

It wasn't always bad to be lost in thought. Well... With Remus chances are it was but this particular time he was just thinking. For the first-ever he wasn't afraid of messing up with the light sides if he did slip up a bit.

When Virgil found out Remus had woken up he practically stormed into the room waking the man up just to be absolutely certain Remus was ok and not dead or some kind of weird zombie thing. He was happy. He hadn't seen Virgil so worried about him.

Then there was Logan who came in every hour on the hour to monitor his vitals and make sure that he didn't suddenly get worse. Remus couldn't help but laugh. Becoming a father had made the usually apathetic looking man so much more...  Honestly, the only way Remus could describe it was with one very simple word... motherly.

Remus burst out laughing so hard he was certain he shook the whole mind palace. Then there was Patton. Oh, that father of a man sure babied Remus. What with all the treats and stories... Remus knew it was because the man felt guilty. He didn't know why. He has asked several times what happened to make them so... protective and shit but no one gave him an answer. Not even Emile who would give him 'free therapy sessions' when he got bored and wanted to do something. He really was a good kid.

Speaking of kids. There was one he still hadn't met yet. In fact, no one ever mentioned him. The only reason he knew about them was that he had woken up from a nightmare one night to spot a small figure by the door with golden eyes just before the black took over again.

The last thing that he thought about was Roman. Well, Roman and Deceit. The both of them had spent every moment they could with Remus. The Darker was honestly surprised at how much Roman wanted to hang with him. He wasn't expecting this much brotherly love from him. At least not toward him. Roman was adamant that they make up for all that brotherly bonding that they missed out on.

That was also why Roman was there on the other couch giggling away at a drunk sounding exhausted Baymax.

"So the Rat man is finally able to get up?" Remus tensed slightly glancing over at a small boy that smirked at him as he pushed his sunglasses to peer over them at Remus. "I'm glad. Everyone's been such gloomy storm clouds since all that happened." Remus glanced over at Roman who laughed a bit and the boy sighed pushing his glasses back up as he took a sip of his juice box. "Nice to meet you, Ratman. I'm sleep."

"REMY!" Remus jumped up with a huge smile on his face as he laughed. Since the man had been bed-bound for so long, he spent a lot of time his alone time on the internet. He used it to catch up since he had been out of the loop since before he got sick... as that was what they told him had happened. He watched the latest videos and stuff but what really got him was the newest character. People were already calling him a side even though the sanders shorts and the sanders sides were a completely different universe. Let's just say Remus spent most of the time reading theories and shit. His favorite being... "They weren't kidding. You really are like your fathers."

"WHAT?!" Roman choked as he struggled to collect himself. Remy just shot them both this confused look. Even just meeting the kid Remus could see it clear as day.

"Oh come on. You are clearly a prinxiety kid." That only made Roman choke more as his face turned as red as his sash. "I mean you've got Virgil's sass. Roman's love of drama. Your whole attitude is clearly a mix of the too of them. And might I also mention... The eyes?" Roman froze up as Remus smirked over at his brother. "Only Us twins and Virgil have color-changing eyes. And I know for a fact that I saw golden eyes, not those dark chocolate brown ones... Even your eyes color is a mix of the two. Virgil's near-black eyes and Roman caramel brown. Like I said... Prinxiety."

"Speaking of eyes..." Roman called over trying to change topics to something else... anything else. "Your's are still green."

"Yeah, about that..." Remus smiled as he sat back down on the couch. "Guess the only ones with color-changing eyes are really you three. My eyes haven't gone back to brown since... the last time I snapped. Then with whatever happened after that, that I can't remember, it just... I don't think it ever will go back." Roman's eyes went dark as Remy chuckled a bit plopping down beside his uncle.

"Brown eyes are overrated anyway." Everyone laughed as Remy shrugged. "Beside's Dee says his favorite color is green so it works out."

"Wait, hold on a min..."

"Come on, Dad," Remy smirked as Roman's face went red again. "We all know about Deceit not really being a kid. Patton told both Emile and me about the fact that Deceit was really about his age. Plus given all the fanfiction about those two..."

"Ok, I'm going to stop you..."

"His favorite color is green?" The two paused a bit looking over at Remus who was now cuddled into his knees with a small smile. "He never told me that before." Roman frowned as the silence slowly filled the place. Now was as good a time as ever.

"Remus... I actually have to tell you something. It's about Rose... and her sisters." Remy frowned as Remus sighed letting his feet hit the floor. "When I went to confront her... I found..."

"Them all turned to stone?" Roman's eyes went wide as Remus only smiled sadly. "Yeah well... Did it at least look good? I didn't want them to... I hoped that... I wanted it all to look good."

"You did it?" Remus nodded as he looked out towards the front entrance. "But..."

"I couldn't risk anything like that ever happening again. Yes... I made it so that no spell of there's did any permanent damage but... I realized that they were still too much of a risk." Roman just stared at his brother, taking everything in. "I went over there... It's actually the last thing I remember." Remus let out a shaky breath making his brother a tad nervous for him. "I went there with the full intention of deleting them, but I couldn't do it. So... I tried to make it so they were at least apart of something beautiful. I must have failed..." Roman's eyes went wide as he saw his brother start to shake. "I mean I'm not exactly you Roman. You're the fantasy Disney kind of guy. It must have looked horrible. Huh... maybe it would have been better..."

"Ray, it was absolutely breathtaking." Remus just looked up at his brother with a sad smiled as Roman looked at the ground. "I don't think I could have ever made something like that."

"Now your either lying or being modest... or self-deprecating, in which case I will gladly tell you to shut your dirty blowhole before I make your teeth fall out." Roman burst out laughing which spurred Remus to as well. Remy just shook his head with a small smile on his face. That was until Roman stopped and frowned.

"But what about Deceit's curse? If Rose is... a statue then... how will Deceit ever..."

"Don't you worry about that, Roman." Remus called over as he turned back to the movie. "Everything will work. You just got to have patience. Right, Remy."

"I'm to tired for this." Once again everyone just sat there laughing as they all sat back and watched the movie together.
