Do you know those movies and tv shows where there this scene that shows the little kid wandering off? Their parent turns away for just a second and they'll see something that catches their eyes so they follow it. Like a balloon or a butterfly... Next thing they knew they're lost or in the grips of a not so nice person.

Yes well, Deceit decided to buy into that stereotype. He spotted one of Roman's many creations, a small little bunny with lime green eyes, and he like every other kid his age let his childish curiosity get the better of him and he followed it. He followed it out of the park and into the woods that surrounded the palace. Needless to say, the boy was not getting back on his own.

Not that he was even aware of how far he wandered. He just kept chasing the little bunny. Following it past fallen trees and flower patches... thin streams of glimmering blue waters and oddly shaped rocks that on more than one occasion looked eerily similar to Disney characters... He even past this one tree with broken branches and scratch marks galore, all the while completely enthralled by the tiny green-eyed fur ball hopping away from him.

Unfortunately, as it often does, his lack of attention got the better of him. His hand slipped on a log he was trying to push himself over and he fell. He fell hard. His knee caught a jagged rock slicing it enough to make the boy cry out. It was only then, did the cold reality creep in. Deceit wandered off. He wandered off into the woods. And he didn't have Remus to protect him...

As the tears fell steadily from his eyes he tried to push himself up. It didn't work. The gash on his leg was so bad the pain was too much for the small boy to handle. He just pushed himself against the log and cried. He didn't know how long he was out there. He didn't know how far he wanders or if the others even could find him.

"RAY!" He cried out as the fear began to close in on him. Every sound... Every rustle or distant howl made the boy shake and shiver. "REMUS!" He hugged himself tightly fearing he would never be found. His leg burned with pain the continued to bleed. He was cold. He was scared. But worst of all he was not alone. Deceit could pick up the sound of footsteps growing close and he curled into himself. He tried to ball up like the snake he was but he didn't get very far only resulting in uneven and shaky breaths as his anxiety and fear skyrocketed.

"Deceit?" The boy jumped up hearing the familiar voice crying out as he tried to get again. Suddenly a figure stood in front of him with a look of immense concern. "Hold still, Deceit." Dee only nodded as they knelt down, their tie brushing against Dee's leg as he looked at the cut. Logan sucked in a shaky breath as he carefully picked up the crying child into his arms. "REMUS I FOUND HIM!"

"IS HE OK?!" Logan flinched slightly as the darker side popped up in front of him without any warning. How was it possible for Dark sides to just... appear like that? "Logan, is he... HIS LEG!"

"Remus, breath." Logan quickly handed the child over to the other who held on tightly as if the world was ending. Deceit leg was badly cut and in need of proper cleaning. His leg was covered in dirt and grime. It was not good. However, Remus didn't look any better. Just from that small amount of time, apart Remus's fear took hold of him giving his thoughts a little too much power over him. He looked pale and sickly. His hair was wild and disheveled from anxiously messing with it over and over as he searched. His eyes were puffy from the tears he still couldn't stop crying. His pants were torn and slightly bleeding from stumbling into a thorn bush. "You're only going to push yourself over the edge. Deceit is ok. He's been found and we have the proper stuff needed to care for his leg. He will be ok."

"R-Right... You're logic. Y-You would know." He clung to Deceit like a lifeline as Deceit held on like a baby monkey burying himself into the man sobbing out in both pain and relief. "I-It's ok, Dee. It's ok. Te tengo. No dejaré que pase nada más. Lo prometo." Deceit only sobbed louder as he clung to the man more. "Shh... It's ok. You're going t-to b-be ok. Right, Lo?" Logan could see the desperation in the other eyes.
