"So, Roman I've been thinking..." Virgil glanced over at his boyfriend as he tried to calm his breathing a bit. He had heard everything Roman said to Patton about what had happened. He wasn't too happy. He knew that they needed to learn to understand each other but they never will if Roman snaps every time he sees the man. Things needed to change especially if Remus was going to stay here... no... Especially if Deceit was going to be staying here. Virgil knew that if Deceit was apart from Remus for too long nothing good would happen. As long as Dee was a child, they were forced to deal with Remus. Not that Virgil hated him. Virgil didn't hate him or anything for that matter. He was worried. He was worried because he didn't know if Roman did. Which brought him to this point... "Maybe you should actually talk to him?"
"Talk to who?" Virgil groaned as he spun himself a bit until he was looking right at Roman. The creative man could see the seriousness in his eyes just as clear as his anxiety.
"Your twin. You need to talk to Remus." Roman's face paled. In all honesty, he wasn't feeling all too proud of what happened now that he calmed down. He was stuck in a crappy pattern. Remus shows up, Roman flips out, Remus attacks, and then... Roman realizes it all his fault and is guilty but unable to go and apologize. It was even worse now that Virgil had told him Remus couldn't exactly help it. Roman didn't miss the tears he saw falling from his brother's eyes... he just ignored them till it hit him hard later on. Remus had been crying the moment he broke down. "You two need to..."
"I can't Virgil." Roman looked away trying to avoid Vee's obvious scowl as he sighed. "What if I... I mean... My anger. I don't understand why it's so bad anyway." The creative man started to drum on the arm of the couch as he stared off at nothing. "He doesn't ever do anything... I'm always the one that starts it. The moment I see him..."
"You've said it yourself, Roman." Virgil took the mans hands giving him a smile as their eyes met. "He's like a funhouse mirror. A mirror that shows you everything you don't want to be. The thing is though, Ro... He doesn't want to be it either. But... He doesn't have a choice. This is how he was made."
"I don't know what to do Vee. I can't ever... focus enough to make the right choice with him." Roman wanted to curl up. He hated feeling like this. It sucked so much. "God he probably hates me."
"No, actually..." Roman noticed Virgil's smile fall. Virgil had been on the receiving end of many of Remus's depressed rants. Deceit was always his rock but for the longest time, Remus had been afraid to talk to the deceptive side for fear of losing him. Virgil had been the one he spoke to. He understood his mind better than even Dee did... now, he was probably the only one that understood it. "Roman if anything... He thinks you hate him."
"WHAT? I DON'T HATE HIM!" Virgil was taken back by the tears that started to fall from his boyfriend's eyes. "I don't. I swear I don't. I just... I get scared. And... I don't know, but I don't hate him."
"Then you REALLY need to talk to him, Roman. It isn't my please to tell you what he's thinking." Roman tensed up as Virgil let out a shakey and anxious breath. "Please... Right now, he's probably having a hard time getting a handle on things. He snapped Roman. He may not have done anything thanks to Deceit but... He will eventually." Roman narrowed his eyes taking in everything that Virgil was saying. "He will. I can guarantee it. The worst part about it is... things are ALWAYS worse after an episode. If he isn't careful he'll snap again. He's too frayed... talk to him... please." Virgil didn't even wait for a response. He got up and let Roman sitting there drowning in what he said, only pausing for a moment to say one final thing. "He needs his brother."
"Logan?" Remus slowly pushed the door open to find the Logical one sleeping at his desk, an open notebook dangerously close to being drooled on. Remus sighed signing the sleeping side. He had come to talk to him but that wasn't going to happen. The darker side snapped putting Logan into a set of pajamas covered in mathematical equations and carefully moved the side into his bed. He had often done this with Virgil when he fell asleep in odd places. Well, him of Deceit. The two of them or always pushing themselves a bit too much. He even tucked Logic in... surprisingly enough. However, his curiosity got the better of him as he looked at what Logic had been doing. The notebook was full of scribbles and writing... Remus could see the makings of a character but it had no... life. Being Logic he was not a creative person and couldn't give the character the much-needed detail that truly made it. Remus frowned reading the header... 'Logality Child?'. Remus snatched the book as quickly and carefully as he could and ran out the door. "You'll thank me later, pocket projector."
