"Ok, so Dee now you roll." Patton laughed a bit as the tiny snake child reached out rolling doubles for the third turn in a row.
"How are you so damn lucky, Kid?" Virgil squeaked watching Dee move his little peter pan piece around. Dee was happy. He like this Disney monopoly game Patton picked out. "Any way Patton did Logan tell you where those too were going?"
"What two?" Virgil sighed as he took the dice rolling a 7. He moved his Mowgli piece.
"He and Roman were heading out to try and find Rose. Roman figured it had to be her or something. Did Lo really not tell you?" Patton shrugged as he took his turn moving his snow-white piece 11 spaces before picking up a get out of jail free card. "Roman must not have given him a chance. He did say he wanted to get it all done with before Remus got an idea of where he was going."
"Why would that matter?" Patton frowned a bit as Deceit took his turn. "Remus doesn't care about..."
"Yeah, but Roman doesn't know that. Plus he was the one that separated the imagination into the two separate parts. For Roman to be the one to go into Remus's territory... It's a matter of pride." Virgil sighed grabbing a cookie Patton had set out before the game started. So far... Deceit was winning. He had more houses, hotels, and cash. Seriously, Virgil thought to himself with a chuckle, that is one lucky snake. "Plus despite what he says he feels, Remus does care for those witches. Think of it this way... They were Remus very first living creation. He's like... literally their father and you know how he feels about having a family." Virgil caught Deceit narrowing his eyes in confusion and he frowned. "Even though Remus made them to be Roman's villains... knowing that his brother would 'defeat' them and wanting his brother to be happy... the idea of his children getting hurt still upsets him." Patton frowned as Virgil finally took his took. "In all honesty, Roman needs to just talk to his brother."
"Yeppers." Patton rolled the dice moving his piece only to land on the go straight to jail. Everyone started to giggle until Patton noticed something was off. Deceit's skin was a little too pale for Patton's liking. "Hey, Dee? Are you feeling alright?" The child just shrugged as he took his turn ignoring the now concerned looks from the others. They had been informed of what had happened and told to look after Dee in case he started to get sick. Patton worried that that seemed to be happening. "Kiddo, maybe we should..."
"I AM SO SICK OF LOGAN!" The door slammed shut behind them startling everyone as Roman stomped over grumbling to himself. "It's the only thing that makes sense yet there's 'not sufficient enough data to arrive at such a conclusion'."
"Logan shot you down?" The angry creative man plopped down beside his boyfriend with only a grunt as a response. "Well, he is right, Princy."
"Right my ass!" Roman cried out ignoring Patton's 'language' as he went on. "What else could there have been. Rose's curse was the only thing that happened. But Logan said we had to absolutely sure because otherwise, we would be putting ourself in unnecessary risk."
"Again, he is right. Roman, Rose tried to curse you. Don't you think it's better to not see her again if you don't have to." Roman understood where they were coming from. He did. It was just he couldn't get what happened out of his mind. His brother shaking in his arms because Deceit had gotten hurt. If Deceit wasn't a child Roman was sure this would never have happened. And if it did, he knew Deceit would have been able to keep Remus calm. Yet Roman had to do it and he wasn't even sure he did a good enough job. He was scared... for his brother. Remus looked so sick from just fear and worry... And Deceit... He had to figure out a way to undo it. Plus he could tell something was going on with Remus. He's been jumpy and irritable. He hasn't even said one inappropriate thing to him in who knows how long. Roman was concerned.
"I know... I know! It's just..." Roman sighed as he leaned over the couch arm getting lost in his thoughts again. He just doesn't know what to do.
"You should take to Remus." Roman flinched unintentionally at the sudden sound of Patton's voice. "I know you both have your issues but He's the one who found Deceit like this. Chances are he would know how it happened."
"Yeah..." Roman chuckled slightly at his out stupidity. "I know that too. I just don't want to give him anymore... shit to think about. Imagine how he would take it if it really was Rose." Virgil and Patton both shot the man a look making him curl into himself. "Yeah yeah... I got it. Talk to Remus... just not right now."
