Priya's POV

Shit..i never used to space out like this.but when Damon cornered me, my mind completely filled with this newly found behavior in me. normally I used to feel uncomfortable when opposite gender violates my personal space. but that time I realized that even though Damon became  more touchy I never once felt disgusted or uncomfortable around  him I even felt safe around him .thinking about safe, my thought shifted to that sadist Prithvi, when that idiot forcibly  touched me,

"PRIYA"

that is the second when Damon shouted at me breaking my thoughts.

But the next second he asked me whether am I okay with concern written all over his face .that moment, I felt the walls which I've been building around me becoming weak.

No priya .you have to be strong.

This demon is very dangerous, he is somehow breaking my barriers.

When he left, I released a deep breath which I've been holding for the past few minutes.
Priya relax.don't get distracted.

I calmed myself slowly. oh my, .i have to complete my document preparation duty. By next second I switched back to my working mode.

At 6.30 pm

Right now I'm standing near my desk and placing all my belongings in my handbag to go home. today is one long day.my boss, no my ex.boss informed me all the details about his retirement .i'm definitely gonna miss him, sometimes he reminds me of my father a lot. Today,  he gave me one final promise, he said, "priya incase in the future if my son behave too recklessly, you can inform me immediately dear. I'll give him a nice beating myself"

His simple words inflicted a great emotion in me.

Flashback:

"Dad I got a gold medal and also I'm the topper in my class you should reward me ", I said while excitedly running towards my parents with my gold medal and provisional certificate, in my graduation 🎓  dress.

" I'm so proud of you my little princess ", dad said while giving me a warm hug.

I just love it when he calls me 'little princess' but I won't accept it.

"You can able to achieve it all because you listened to your father's advice and stayed away from those damn boys sweetie ", he said while kissing my forehead.

"But dad you knew well that the reason I became distinct with boys was all because of my first and only boyfriend  ", I said while pouting at my dad.

"Yeah yeah I know that idiotic ex-boyfriend of yours vanished within 24hours  after you accepted his proposal," he said playfully rolling his eyes while still loosely holding me in his embrace.

"Dad", I said while fake glaring at him.

" oh and also another four boys who just proposed you also vanished by next day", he said while nodding his head proudly.

"Rajiv don't make fun of our daughter", my mom said slapping my father's arm.
My mom is the sweetest as well as strictest among both of them.

" Congratulations darling.I'm so proud of your achievement. come here", she said while opening her arms.

I immediately removed myself from my father's warm embrace, who fake glared at my sudden escape and moved to my mother's soft embrace.
