WARNING: SPOILERS FOR SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME AND SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE ARE AHEAD!!!

Okay so not too long ago, I watched FFH, then even more recent, I rewatched Into the Spider-Verse for a second time.

I noticed a connection...

It was confirmed in the movie that Peter B Parker came from Earth 616, and this shocked me. Why? Because according to FFH, the MCU is also Earth 616.

So you know what that would mean...?

Are the same person.

This didn't make sense to me for a few reasons.

1. They have different MJs. MJ in Into the Spider-Verse is a redhead whose name is Mary Jane Watson. MJ in the MCU is a brown girl whose name is Michelle Jones. If these Peters are the same person, it would mean that Peter and Michelle broke up in High School, and Peter grew up and married Mary Jane. But I don't think the MCU would just add such a chemistry between two characters (Peter and Michelle) just to have it shattered that easily.

2. Peter's "gut". Okay, in Into the Spider-Verse, they like to tease the fact that Peter gained some weight. It's definitely not like that in the MCU. In fact, Tom Holland himself claims that he purposely made himself ripped just to play the role Peter Parker. I mean, it could be possible that Peter pulled a Thor on us, but it just seems a little OOC.

3. Uncle Ben. When Miles' uncle died in Into the Spider-Verse, the other Spider People tried to tell him that he wasn't alone by telling him the people that THEY lost. Peter was the last one to tell. He said, and I quote:
"For me it was my Uncle Ben."
In other Spider-Man movies and comics, Uncle Ben was not only Peter's uncle, but also his mentor. It was confirmed that Uncle Ben does not exist in the MCU, and the character that took the role of Peter's mentor was Tony Stark. So it didn't make sense for Peter to say that if he's the same Peter as MCU Peter. If it was MCU Peter, he probably would have said:
"For me it was my mentor" or "for me it was Tony Stark".
