It Seems Like we Lost... Or did we...? (One last Spider-Man Update)

I thought we won, but maybe I was wrong. Or maybe I wasn't? At this point it's all so confusing.

What I put in the last chapter, some fans are saying is just a rumor, but other fans are saying is 100% true. It was supposed to be confirmed at D23 Expo, but something else happened instead.

There are other fans who are taking this pretty seriously, even though there's no video evidence that Tom Holland actually said these things:

But if he did, not gonna lie, both of these sound a lot like Tom is saying goodbye to us

But if he did, not gonna lie, both of these sound a lot like Tom is saying goodbye to us. If he actually said the second thing, I'm glad that he's still optimistic about playing Spider-Man, even if it won't be in the MCU. I don't think I'm going to see Sony's movies because seeing a totally different Spider-Man played by Tom is going to make me way too sad.

IF Spidey really is gone, we've all learned a lesson from this. Money can get in the way of good things. And when we get too much of it, we become greedy. It's just in human nature. But try to do what Disney didn't do, and think about other people's feelings. Because kindness and compassion is way more important than money.

Sony and Marvel are totally open to having Spider-Man rejoin the MCU. If the rumors aren't true, Disney is putting money before fans, probably completely unaware of how much this will actually hurt them.

But the problem is... yes, this IS going to hurt them, but not that much. A lot of new series are going to come out on Disney+, and that is going to get them a lot of money.

Losing Spider-Man is going to hurt Sony, the MCU, Tom Holland, and the fans way more than Disney. But it seems Disney doesn't care.

If the rumors aren't true, I'm actually really sad and angry about this. I will try and remain in the Marvel fandom, but Spider-Man and Iron Man are what got me into the MCU to begin with. Don't get me wrong, the other MCU characters are amazing, but looking into the future of the MCU without Tony or Peter just makes me incredibly sad.

There might still be a little hope, but only time will tell. However, now this theory is going around:
