So I'm involved in a LOT of fandoms (I wonder what gave THAT away 😂)
I tend to develop a lot of theories about my fandoms.
I'm aware that the account I'm posting this on is mainly for Marvel, and this book will contain Marvel theories too. However...
I HAD TO DO THIS... SERIOUSLY, I COULDN'T STOP THINKING ABOUT IT.
Who would win in a battle? Loki or Yato?
I also plan on doing these two battles in the future:
Thor vs Takemikazuchi (Japanese god of thunder)
Hela vs Izanami (Japanese goddess of the underworld)
For now, it's Loki vs Yato!
There's two things to keep in mind while reading this.
1. This is 100% a NON-BIASED opinion! I am both an MCU and Noragami fan, and I like both of these characters.
2. I did research on both of them before doing this. Yeah yeah, I'm in both fandoms and I already know a lot about them, however, I haven't seen the Thor movies in ages and I haven't finished the Noragami manga. So I did a little research to make sure I don't get anything wrong or miss anything.
Let's begin, shall we?!
First, advantages and disadvantages.
Yato advantages:
1. Yato isn't the most praised god in the world, however, he is deemed one of the most powerful. Both Yato and Bishamon, the war gods, are more powerful than any god there is. At least in their world. That's why battles between the two were so climactic.
2. Yato wields a Blessed Vessel, which is a Regalia that risks their name for their master and transforms into a weapon that is more powerful than their previous form. For example, Yukine started off as one katana like this:

3. Yato's swordsmanship using his weapons are beyond amazing. He's learned these skills in order to fight not only humans, but other gods and Phantoms as well. He is also agile and quick with the way he moves. Using these skills, he was even able to bring a sword to a gunfight... AND WIN.
