Okay, so I'm just f*ckin having my own little movie night, right?
There was one time when I watched both IW and IT1 back to back... literally on the same day... so I was like... I'm gonna watch Endgame and IT2 back to back since they're the sequels and I had nothing to do...
aND I FOUND SOME SIMILARITIES BETWEEN BOTH IT2 AND ENDGAME. I BLEW MY OWN MIND. Check this out:
1. The runtime of both IT2 and Endgame are around 3 hours.
2. The entire second act of IT2 is about the team having to split up to find artifacts from the past that they will need in order to defeat Pennywise. Sound familiar? It's just like how the heroes in Endgame went on an adventure to find the stones from the past so they could defeat Thanos!
3. The third act of IT2 stars the Losers Club performing the ritual and using the artifacts before Pennywise appears, stronger than ever. They beat Pennywise, but Eddie loses his life in the process while trying to save Richie and protect the others. As for Endgame, think of 'the ritual' as Professor Hulk snapping the first time, and then THANOS appears stronger than ever. They end up beating Thanos, but instead, Tony loses his life in the process to save the universe.
4. Both movies end in an emotional speech given by characters who lost their lives.

The speech doesn't take up this entire 5 minute video btw, I just couldn't find a vid on YouTube of just the speech. It starts at 25 seconds and ends at 1:57. But still... chiLLS!!
5. Two main characters died in Endgame (Tony and Nat). Two main characters died in IT2 (Stanley and Eddie). Nuff said... excuse me while I go cry 😭
6. And last but not least, I remember thinking about the fact that "keep the door open 3 inches" from Stranger Things was their own equivalent of "I love you 3000". But ya know what IT's equivalent to that is???
