Mkayyyy...
I said I would only post about the situation if something good happened. Things went downhill over the past few weeks, and that's the reason I haven't been updating about the problem.
The bad stuff that happened was this:
- Sony CEO says "The door is closed on Spider-Man rejoining the MCU."- Fans we're losing hope, and the FFH extended cut made Sony's stocks raise.
HOWEVER!! Some good news was just released!
First of all, other celebrities gave their opinions on the problem, and they had the same reactions as us fans.
But here's the best news.
Sony is just as desperate to get Spider-Man back as the fans are. They probably know that they can no longer pull off a good Spider-Man trilogy without the MCU.
Sony has offered Disney a new deal. They're offering 30% (not exactly 50%, but it's still fair). Sony also wants both Spider-Man and Venom in the hands of the MCU.
If this deal is to happen, fans will be happy and both Disney and Sony will make billions! It's a win-win!
And a brand new announcement was made by one of the most trustworthy Marvel sources out there.
Mike Sutton has been correct about MANY things in the MCU. All we have to do is hope that he's right with this one.
However, as good as this news sounds, don't get your hopes up. Disney can be unpredictable, and they could possibly decline the deal. You never know...
I guess all I'm saying is be hopeful that the new deal is accepted, but not TOO hopeful.
Once again, I'll only update about this problem if something good happens. Bye y'all!
