Captain Marvel 2 TEA

If you don't already know, Captain Marvel 2 is in production!!!

I personally loved the first Captain Marvel. She ended up becoming one of my favorite female superheroes (along with Wanda and Nat) because she's just so badass.

And today, I found some new tea about Captain Marvel 2, some I feel pretty good about, and some... not so much.

So let's talk about it, shall we?!

The one thing about this that is NOT a rumor and has actually been confirmed is that Captain Marvel 2 is going to go in a different direction. They're going to use one of the writers of the WandaVision series to write the script for Captain Marvel 2. This makes sense to add Wanda into the film now.

How do I feel about this?

Well, for one thing, I think it will be pretty interesting. As much as I loved the first film, I think it will be pretty cool to see where to second one will go with a new writer.

Second thing I would like to talk about is the rumor of a Captain Marvel, Scarlet Witch, and Spider-Man team up.

Like... holy crap...

This trio is f*cking unstoppable!!

You've got Wanda and Carol, two extremely powerful women who are so powerful that they were actually able to make Thanos AFRAID, and even though Peter's just a teenage boy, he's still pretty damn powerful. Not only is he a kid genius (probably gets it from his dad, lol), but he was able to take down the Vulture without a Stark Suit and beat Mysterio, who, might I add  was in control of hundreds of drones.

Now, combine that power with the abilities of freaking CAPTAIN MARVEL and the SCARLET WITCH, you pretty much have an unstoppable team.

Third thing, Captain Marvel 2 will take place in present time, after the events of Endgame. So not exactly present time for us since it's 2020, it'll probably be after 2023. That's not a rumor. It's already confirmed.

This would also make sense for the whole 'team up' rumor, as Captain Marvel is actually the oldest of the three. Wanda's age was never confirmed, however, I know for sure that since Peter is only 16, he wasn't even born yet when the first movie took place.

This would also make sense since the post credit scene in FFH showed that Nick Fury and Maria Hill were actually just Talos and his wife.

As we all know, the real Nick Fury and Captain Marvel are pretty much best friends. Another thing we know is that in Spider-Man 3, Peter is going to be Wanted and might turn to real Nick Fury for help.

This is now a bigger chance to bring Spider-Man into Captain Marvel 3 as it was also rumored that those two would be the ones to lead the next Avengers.

If you recall, the new deal between Disney and Sony was for one more Spider-Man solo film along with a team up film. That team up film is believed to be Captain Marvel 2.

Now, this I am perfectly okay with. A team up with three of my favorite heroes sounds fREAKING AMAZING.

But here's what I'm absolutely NOT okay with.

Peter being rumored to have a crush on Carol.

*Inhales*

CAROL IS TOO OLD FOR PETER!! AND CAROL IS PROBABLY A LESBIAN.

OR AT LEAST BISEXUAL.

BUT STILL.

AND PETER HAS A F*CKING GIRLFRIEND.

I'm okay with it if Peter just kinda has a 'celebrity crush' on Carol though. In fact, that's probably what's more likely to happen if this rumor is true. After all, there is a HUGE difference between between a celebrity crush and a real crush.

Okay, new topic!!

Skrulls.

In the first Captain Marvel, the Skrulls are actually shown to be good.

However, the sequel is probably going to be about invasion.

IF it follows the storyline of the comics, this means that the Skrulls could invade Earth and shapeshift into the other Avengers. This means that none of the Avengers know who is real.

But the Skrulls are good, right?

For the most part, right.

But some of the Skrulls might not be. There might be some evil Skrull out there, and not to mention the Kree might also be in this movie.

So all in all, as of now, it seems like the new Avengers are going to be assembled by Captain Marvel, Scarlet Witch, and Spider-Man. And as long as Peter doesn't have a major crush on Carol, I'm pretty much okay with everything else. I am HYPED for this movie, y'all!!!
