Is Dean an Illusion??: IT Theory

Ok so I was just casually watching IT clips, right?

Then I realized something... All of the main deaths due to Pennywise in chapters 1 and 2 involve the fears of the victim.

Georgie's fear was disappointing his older brother, Bill.

Adrian's fear was homophobia.

Vicky's fear was being bullied.

Eddie's fear was of losing to Pennywise.

Stanley's fear was having to face Pennywise for a second time.

Patrick was a bit of a confusing character, so it was hard to tell if he had any real fears.

However, there was one death in specific that seemed to be the only one without a real fear. And that's none other than Dean.

So here's my theory: What if Dean isn't real? What if he's just an illusion from Pennywise in order to scare Bill?

Think about it. Not only is it a little ironic that they saw the same kid at the Chinese restaurant, but this kid JUST SO HAPPENS to live in Bill's old house, and JUST SO HAPPENS to pass by Bill when he is by the sewer where Georgie was killed.

It seemed like Pennywise knew Bill felt guilty because of the death of Georgie, and it was clear that Dean reminded Bill of Georgie. So Pennywise would use this kid to lure Bill into a trap, which worked.

And why else would Dean only be effecting Bill? Because again, Pennywise knows how Bill feels about Georgie.

Notice how Dean literally has no effect on all of the other Losers EXCEPT for Bill. That's also a little ironic, isn't it?

And... in the mirror maze, it's a fun house for kids!! Dean would probably easily be able to escape before Pennywise broke the glass. What kind of fun house has an area to trap kids?! But since Dean might be an illusion, he didn't leave because he's under Pennywise's control.

As well as the fact that there was blood everywhere when Pennywise pounced on Dean, and Bill was the only one to walk out. In reality, he would probably be blamed for murder. But he wasn't...? So this could possibly mean that nobody else could see Dean's blood, meaning he's fake.

So basically, to narrow it down, here's why my theory could be true:

1. Dean's death never involved a specific fear like the other deaths did.

2. Dean lives in Bill's old house and happened to come by Bill at the right time.

3. Dean only effects Bill, the one who lost his brother all those years ago.

4. Dean would easily be able to escape the mirror maze if he was real.

5. Bill wasn't blamed for the murder after Dean died.

If Dean really is an illusion...

Anyway.

It's midnight... my brain really needs to shut up with these theories so I can SSSLLLEEEEEPPPP....
