Marvel Parallels in "The Lion King"

I just got back from watching the new Lion King movie, and here's my unpopular opinion:

It was a good movie!

It stays faithful to the plot of the original movie, and with their looks, I really like this new realistic take.

I don't really know which one I prefer. But watching the new one and remembering the old one, I noticed some parallels that I would like to share.

First of all, the relationship between Mufasa and Scar reminds me a lot of Thor and Loki. Mufasa is the King that everyone adores, while Scar lies in his brother's shadow.

Sooo...

Mufasa/Thor
Scar/Loki

However, that didn't make full sense because in the Marvel fandom, a lot of fans actually prefer Loki over Thor, but nobody likes Scar and they all love Mufasa.

So I was also getting THIS vibe:

Mufasa/Tony Stark
Scar/Quentin Beck
Simba/Peter Parker

Tony was Peter's father-figure, and Mufasa was Simba's real father. Well... both Tony and Mufasa kinda... died...

And come on, you can't just tell me that this green atmosphere from the Original movie doesn't just SCREAM "Mysterio"
