Beli's POV

"Hey Beli" Caleb greets as I place my belongings on the table next to him.

"Heya"

"Did you do the homework?" He asks.

"Yeah, I did. Did you?" I take it out.

"Nope. Lemme copy your answers" he takes it from me and starts scribbling each answer down onto his booklet.

"Alright, whatever"

"Good morning, class" Mrs Oprah beams as she walks in the room, "can I please have all the homework at the front? And I mean everyone" she sets her stuff on the teacher's desk.

"Caleb, you done?" I whisper to him.

"One last one.... annnndddd. Done!" He gives me a cheeky smile.

I take my homework back from him and placed it in the pile along with the other ones.

"Today, we'll be watching a drama performance from your year level in about 5 minutes or so. So just sit back and relax until they are ready for us to head on over" the teacher explains.

"Queenie told me a bit about this" I say to Caleb as I finally return back to my seat.

"What is it about?"

"Apparently it's a remake of 'Beauty And The Beast' with a twist" I tell him.

"What's the twist?"

"She didn't tell me. She said I wouldn't understand it"

"Huh.... she's probably right" he says.

I frown again.

"Why does everyone keep saying that?"

Caleb doesn't answer. He looses eye contact with me and instead he looks at Logan-who was across from me. Logan looks back at Caleb then at me.

"You just don't understand many things" he answers

"Like..?"

"Sex. Parties. Video games. Action movies.... many things" Logan answers.

"I understand all of those things" I lie.

"Come to Dustin's party then" he smirks.

I look at Caleb, "Are you going?"

"No, I'm grounded, remember? Plus Dustin hates me"

I think for a moment, "I'll be there"
