Beli's POV

"Beli!!" Queenie screeches as she hugs me tight. My belongings spill out of my locker, again.

I look at it and frown.

"You really need to fix that" she points to the mess on the floor.

I don't say anything, I go on my knees and gather all of my belongings, as she goes on her phone texting someone.

"Let me help you" Rhett says coming out of nowhere and begins to place my stuff in my locker.

"Thank you" I smile as I look at him.

"No problem"

I stand back up as Rhett places the last batch of books in my locker to where it belongs.

He looks at me and immediately frowns, "what happened to your face?"

"Shit, Beli, what did you do?" Queenie looks at it up close.

I get confused until I remembered about the bruise father left on my cheek.

"Oh, nothing, don't worry about it" I shake my head and give the two a reassuring smile.

"Beli, I know you. What did you do?"

"I attempted to practise my skateboarding skills but ended up falling on my face" I lie.

"Of course you did" she laughs.

I smile at her, I look over at Rhett who didn't look as convinced.

"I'll see you girls around" Rhett waves.

"See ya" I say.

As soon as he was gone, Queenie mutters, "you guys a thing yet?"

I shake my head trying not to cause a scene, "he got over the incident that happened in detention and I guess we're in good terms"

"Then what happened yesterday when he made you stay?" She asks.

"He apologised" I simply say.

She slowly nods, "anything juicy happened?"

My mind instantly went to that kiss him and I shared. My cheeks slightly starts to heat up as I felt his touch on my lips, "not really"

"You're blushing, Beli, what happened?" She gets excited.

"What happened with what?" Connor asks with Logan and Dustin behind him.

"Nothing!"

Way to cover things up!!

"Okaay..." he then says.

Caleb swings by and gives me a quick hug, "heya" I greet with a smile.

"Hi, what happened to your face?"

"I fell over while I tried to skateboard"

"You tried to skateboard?" Logan ask while laughing at the way I worded my sentence.

"Yes"

"That is a pretty bad bruise though" he got over his laughter and looked at it closer.

"Have you seen Dustin anywhere?" Queenie asks them.

"I have" Dustin, himself, answers.

"Hey baby" Queenie hums as they almost have a make out session.

"Since when they were dating?" I ask the three.

"Just now, I guess" Connor says.

"I've always knew they were going to become a thing" Logan smiles.

I look at Caleb, he was staring at the couple.

"Oh my..." I accidentally whisper. They all look at me concerned.

Caleb likes Queenie!!!

"What's up?" She asks.

"N-Nothing" I shake my head.

"There's something up, tell me!"

"I don't have a date for prom?" I say more like a question.

"That's like, in two weeks, you'll be fine"

"I'll be your date" Logan speaks up as he throws an arm over my shoulders.

I look at him, "really?"

"Yeah" he shrugs.

"Okay" I giggle happily.
