Beli's POV

"When are you going to tell people about the truth about us?" Olive asks me as we were cuddling in her bed. I was in her arms.

"I don't think it's possible. They're really homophobic. And I wish it were easy for me to just let it out" I look up at her.

She pecks my forehead, "they're your friends, they should love you for who you are. Even your parents"

"They should but they don't" I sit up.

"Can you at least try?" She sits up and massages my shoulders.

"I'll do it for you, baby" I smile and kiss her passionately.

"What are you telling me?! You are not gay!!" Mother shouts as father stands next to her looking at me disappointingly.

"I never said that I was gay, I'm into boys and girls equally and I fell in love with Olive" I tell them hoping they'd understand.

Lucky for me, they don't.

"You are banned from seeing her ever again!" Father shouts.

"God! I wonder if her parents knows about this!" Mother waves her arms around, "you know what? I'm going to message her right now!"

"Mother, no!"

"No? Don't tell her what to do!" Father slaps me hard across the face. I fall to the floor.

"I've raised you so hard for you to date a girl" mother spits as she press send.

Within a few seconds, Olive's mother replies back.

"Her own mother doesn't even know that she is gay" she tsks and shakes her head.

"We are going to arrange something for you to become straight! We want you to date a nice man who will marry you one day. Now go to your room, I can't stand to look at a fairy"

"Queenie, I don't know what to do. Mother and father both hates me for being bi. They don't understand how much I love Olive and how much I want to be with her" I explain with my phone beside my ear ready for her response.

"Beli... I'm sorry but... you're parents are in the right to do what they are doing. If I were them I'd be sending you to church school" she says.

I almost drop my phone.

"What?"

"Can't you see? She's making you gay. This isn't only going to look bad for you but also for me because I hang out with you"

"Queenie, please tell me you're joking.." my voice breaks.

"I'm not. I don't like gays, I've never did. So you better clean your act or else our friendship is over"

I open my mouth to say something but I have nothing to say.

"It's me or her, Beli"

Olive and I sit at our favourite spot by the lake were no one goes.

"My parents are taking me out of the country. We're going to Germany. Where my grandparents are"

"They can't take you away, Olive" I frown as I grab hold onto her hand.

"Well. That's what you're parents and my parents agreed to" she shrugs.

I start to cry.

"Beli, please don't cry" she wipes away my tears but more falls down.

"I'm gonna miss you" I sob.

"I'm gonna miss you too" she hugs me tight.

"They can't punish us for loving each other. That's just cruel" I mumble.

"I agree"

I look into her beautiful eyes before looking down at her red plumped lips.

"Should we do this one last time? Or will it be too much?" She whispers.

"It'll be too much to miss but I'm in need to do so"
