Beli's POV
"Alright, can someone catch me up on what you guys were working on and what you're up to?" Mr McLaughlin asks the class.
"We were about to watch a movie" someone calls out.
"The teacher was supposed to bring snacks as well" another says
"What I can recall, the teacher said we aren't supposed to be here" Queenie says putting her hand up.
"What about you? Would you like to butt in?" The teacher points to me.
My heart begins to race as all eyes went on me. They wait for my answer, probably already knowing that I was going to tell him the truth.
"Um.. I.." I look at Queenie.
"Tell him I'm right" she whispers in my ear.
I shake my head, "What we're actually supposed to do is watch 'Little Miss Sunshine' and read 'The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night-Time', then we have to write a comparative essay about the two"
"I thought so. Ryan, Chloe and Queenie, if you lie to me again, I'll give you a detention. That actually goes for the rest of you guys too. Don't lie to me" He points. He then grabs out a sheet of paper that had the things we need to do, "it says here that in this lesson we will be watching the film, does anyone know how to access that?" He looks up.
No one says a thing.
"I can put it on the screen. It's on ClickView" I volunteer.
"That would be great! Thank you" he smiles. Yet again, my heart starts to warm up.
