Beli's POV

"I am so sorry for what Connor asked you in English, I didn't know he was going to do that and I-" Logan rants as he takes a seat next to me.

"Don't worry about it, if it's too much for me to go to your place then I can just tell mother it's off" I look at him.

"No, No, please don't do that. I really do want you to be there" he smiles, I smile back at what he said.

"Connor also said we better not do anything nasty" he mutters shyly.

"Why would we do anything disgusting?" I cringe not having the same thing in mind in contrast to Logan.

"He means sex..."

"Oh... the sex..." I then shake my head, "father said 'the sex is a distraction and that you would immediately become pregnant because of it'"

"He's only saying that just so you won't do it" he chuckles.

"Why would he do that? He doesn't care about me" I frown in disbelief.

"Well, maybe he does" he shrugs.

"No, you don't understand what type of person father is"

"Then tell me and I'll try to understand" he grabs one of my hands and gave it a good squeeze.

I nod and begin explaining to Logan all about father.

The bell rings indicating that maths was over and that it was now time to go home.

Everyone quickly packs their stuff up and basically sprints out of class. I take my time to get myself ready to leave since there was no use in being so rushed.

"I'll meet you at your locker" Logan tells me, I nod in response and watch him leave.

I grab my stuff and head out, "see ya ms Levine"

"Bye Beli" she smiles widely.

"Oh wait, Beli!" I stop in my tracks and look back at her, "Mr McLaughlin wants to see you in his office before you head home" Ms Levine tells me.

"Okay, thank you"

I pull my bag out of my locker and swing it around my shoulders.

"Hey, sorry I took awhile" Logan greets as he walks up to me.

"All good. Apparently Mr McLaughlin wants to see me in his office"

"Oh okay, tell me what happens. Where should I meet you?"

"Ummm, I don't mind. Either here or your car" I tell him.

He thinks about it for a minute, "I'll meet you in my car?"

"Okay" I smile.

He gives me a small hug before leaving.

"See ya" I giggle.

I then leave to go to Mr McLaughlin's office. I knock on the door and wait.

"Hey Beli, I'm glad you made it" Rhett greets with a massive smile on his face.

I don't say anything, I just walk in and sat down. I then take my bag off, "what did you wanted to talk about, Mr McLaughlin?"

"I just wanted to ask why you were ignoring me in English today, did I do something wrong?"

"I just think that you're a player, Rhett" I look down at my fidgeting fingers.

"You saw Jessie kiss me didn't you?"

I nod not looking up at him. He squats down in front of me and made me look at him by placing his index finger and thumb on my chin before carefully lifting it up.

"She kissed me. Beli. I didn't kiss her back. Okay?"

I somehow believe him. I nod, "okay"

"That's my girl" he smiles, "now, can I have a kiss?"

I nod again, I place my lips on his passionately.

"I should go now, my friend is waiting for me" I tell him as I broke the kiss.

"Just a little longer" he smirks.
