1 week later...

Prom was in three days.

And it sucks, because Grayson still hasn't asked me to go with him.

I didn't even need a huge promposal or anything.

I just needed him and I together.

My phone started ringing and it was him, I picked it up.

"Hey" I say with a smile playing on my lips.

"Hey do you mind if I come over to your dads place?" He asked and I said yea before hanging up.

At this point our family was in ruins. I told dad about me and Grayson. Reece most likely complained to mom about it.

My dad doesn't mind, because he has always liked Grayson.

"Dad!" I yelled from my room.

"Yes Amara?"

"Graysons coming over for a bit, is that okay?" I asked.

"Yea, but I want the door open!"

I chuckle before walking back into my room.

Living with my dad seemed better. The place was smaller, and it started feeling less lonely than a big house.

The sun was starting to set and I was wondering what was taking Grayson so long.

I walked out of my room to realize there was a trail.

"Dad I'm heading out for a bit" I said before seeing the paper laying outside the main door.

I unfolded it.

My jaw dropped as a blush appeared on my face. I love him.

I drove to his house and twisted the knob, it was unlocked and so I walked in.

I was totally breaking and entering.

I went into the backyard and towards the pool.

"Where is the next clue?" I furrowed my eyebrows.

I look down at the pool and see a box that was sealed.

Is he kidding me? Grayson what kind of love is this?!

I threw on my phone and keys on the pool chair and placed my feet into the pool.

I dived into the pool, which is not shallow.

I reached for the box and grabbed it.

I went back to the surface and opened the box.
