8 years later...

"Hey gorgeous" Gray kissed my lips.

"Hey handsome" I smiled against his lips.

"You know we have been here a week and you still haven't given birth to those twins" Ashton sighed.

"Can I slap him?!" I exclaimed turning to Grayson.

"I'm gonna slap him" I said hitting his arm, and not playfully.

"Okay guys lets calm it down" Reece chuckled as him and Kelsey walked into the living room.

"Tell me to calm down again!" I yelled annoyed.

Pregnant me is not a calm me.

After all these years I found my passion and made it my job. I became a lawyer. But an honest one.

Grayson became a doctor after everything. Studying for these jobs weren't easy even as we were engaged.

But we made it through. And we could make it through anything I knew it.

Kelsey and Reece got married about a year after Grayson and I. Ashton never found a girl, but maybe one day.

"Gray" I whisper stumbling in his arms.

"I think my water just broke"

Sweat was dripping down my face as I just pushed two babies out of my body.

"You just gave birth to one girl and one boy" the nurse said handing me one and Grayson the other.

Tears formed and fell down my cheeks.

"Have you decided on names?"

"Xenia Dolan-Reynolds" Gray And I said in sync.

The names we had decided that night when we talked about our future.

"For the girl" I mention.

"And for the boy?"

"Ace Dolan-Reynolds" we said in sync.

Grayson kissed my forehead before smiling at me.

"You did great Mara. We have a family" Gray whispered.

"Grayson we became a family when we got married" I said kissing his cheek.

"I love you Amara"

"I highly doubt that" he said with a small smile.

"But you shouldn't"

"Promise me something?" He asked making me smile.

"Anything"

"Promise me, that you will continue to love me no matter what an idiot I am"

"I promise" I whisper intertwining our pinkies.

"Promise me you will love me even if everything is against me"

"I promise"

"Xenia" I said.

"Ace" he said.

"Just like we said" he said making me smile.

"So much for crystal" I said making him burst out laughing.

"I can't believe our daughter was about to be named after a stripper"

"It's a unique name okay?" I defended myself.

"Yea Whatever. I still love you despite everything" he kissed me.

"I love you" I whispered.

I was once torn by the man I love and my family. But I realized that it became a part of life. Every step, every fall. When all these pieces finally connected together in the end, it was beautiful.
