"She asked me if I wanted to move to another apartment where I was guaranteed to be safe," I announced in a low buzz to Chris, both of us keeping our eyes peeled for Ava and Mia as we sat at the restaurant we usually met up after work.

They were in the lady's room at the moment so we chose the free time together to converse.

"What did you say?"

"That I didn't know, but I've been thinking about it and a lot."

"I see," Chris replied twirling the wrapper from a straw around his fingers as dark eyes were embedded on me.

"I think you should take the offer up, at least you'll be looked at by her guys when she's not around. That's if you plan on continuing the thing you guys have, which I assume you do."

"How are you certain that I've made my mind up on that?
I just broach the topic about the apartment thingy because I felt like I should tell you." I replied and Chris chuckled, his face lighting up and I giggled.

"I could see the lovebites on your neck, that's how I know. There's no way you could pass up on that sweet ass Brienna. She literally fucked the fear outta you and changed your whole line of thoughts," He said and I blushed checking to see if anyone had heard his snide remark before smacking him on the arm.

"Why are you always so loud when you say things like that?"

"I like embarrassing you, you're facial expressions are THE best!"

"Whatever, but you gotta chill," I slipped and moments after Ava and Mia both came rushing back from the restroom.

"What were you two talking about?" Mia asked dropping down next to me again and Ava with Chris.

"We were talking about the lovebites on her neck," Christopher said and I was shocked at how remarkably candid he was. My eyes were huge because of it and my mouth was hanging loose.

"Oh I thought we were all going to ignore it," Ava retorted and they all laughed among themselves while I sat there dying from the shame.

"Must've been some good ass sex though because those marks are huge." She added trying to touch me and I pulled away. She threw her head back and cackled, her dirty blonde hair spilt about her shoulders.

"This girl must be a force in the bedroom because I've never seen you with one of these before," Mia just had to say and I was certain my face had changed colour.

"Please I'm begging each of you, stop now or I'll literally die from the shame."

"Why should we, you weren't ashamed when Rachel was all up on that ass," Mia said again and I covered my ears.

"OKAY!" My eyes were squeezed shut and I hummed away.

"Alright we'll stop but speaking of which; when in heaven's name are we going to see this girl, do we have to beg you?"

"No, you don't have to beg. She's just a very busy person is all and it seems like she may be even busier in the coming weeks." I said and both Mia and Ava looked at each other before giving me a disappointed glares

"I'm sorry," I added.

"Just invite us over sometime when she's there or something, or at least show us what she looks like," Ava replied and I contemplated it for a second before dismissing it.

"Maybe," I lied.

Quickly they dropped the topic and moved onto something else.

Ava brought up some of her insecurities dating the guy that she was with currently and also how she felt like he was cheating on her. We all gave our best advice on the matter and for the rest of the evening at the restaurant, we talked about work and our personal lives.
