Kaitlyn's P.O.V
Christian showed me to the room I'd be staying in, I'd been blindfolded earlier so I couldn't see where Key had driven us.
"There should be clothes in there." Christian said, pointing to the wardrobe. I opened it immediately and looked through the clothes, they looked like the ones I had at home. Exactly like the ones I had at home...
"You took these from my house?!" I mouthed angrily. Christian jumped back.
"Its okay, I didn't harm your dad, I promise you." Christian assured me, I believed him, it seemed he was telling the truth.
"Oh, okay." I reply. Sitting on the bed, Christian took a seat next to me and stared down at his hands.
"You're probably wondering why we need you, aren't you?" Christian's voice sounded weak. I nod eagerly, finally someone was going to tell me why I was so special.
"Well, you're the Sacred one. Prophecy after prophecy has foretold something about the Sacred one, they would only be told in little pieces though. The Sacred one was known to be mute, and have a mark, in the exact shape like yours, a howling wolf. So, we looked for you and here we are." Christian explained, okay, so that showed me how I was the Sacred one, but it didn't quite explain why they needed me.
"Also, once the Sacred one understood his or her power, they wouldn't be mute anymore, and it would be harder to find her and destroy her." Christian added. Goosebumps rippled along my flesh.
"You want to kill me?!" I mouthed appalled. Christian shook his head.
"No! Definitely not! My dad seems to think, that if you stay, you will eventually favour our side and-and.... Bear my children." Christian blushed slightly. I fought a gasp.
"As nice as you seem Christian, I wouldn't, I've got a mate." I mouthed, patting him on the back. Christian smiled.
"I didn't want to at first, but than I saw how gorgeous you were, and I thought about it for a moment. I'm still deciding on whether I should do what my dad wants or not." Christian made eye contact with me, making me fall in to those big blue orbs.
"Christian! We're having a party! Like in those clubs you go to so much! To celebrate the finding of the Sacred one! Leave the Sacred one to get dressed!" Key called from the other room. Christian sighed and got up to leave, I quickly tapped him on the shoulder.
"Please tell your dad to call me Kaitlyn." I mouthed to him, Christian smiled and nodded, then exited the room. As it turned out, when I woke up in the forest, it was around 1-2 o'clock, by now it was around 5, so the sun was starting to set. I observed my clothes in the wardrobe, I need something I would wear to a club. I hunted through until I found something perfect. A black slouchy shirt, along with black and white tribal print leggings. I put them on and looked around for my shoes. I got ballet flat type shoes, but with a bit of a heel on them. I slipped them on and hunted around my room for a mirror. I stumbled into an ensuite bathroom and observed myself in the full length mirror at the back of the bathroom door. The shoes didn't really match, so I swapped them for a pair of black Vans. Much better. My hair wasn't a mess, despite the earlier events, and I don't wear make up, so I didn't really need it, although, there was a light purple mark threatening to appear, where Kellin's fist had connected with my face. I prodded the mark and winced, I poked it harder than I probably should have. I ruffled my hair in the mirror, like Kellin used to and an aching in my chest showed how much I hoped Kellin was safe. The party wasn't going to start till another few hours, leaving me with nothing to do. I sat on the bed and crossed my legs, like they did in kindergarten, and looked out the wall-sized window on the right hand side of my bed.
