After what seemed like hours, Naomi finally wiped away her tears. "We'll take him back to the Order," she announced. "That's where his death can be properly handled." This earned her another slap to the face.
"Are you an idiot?" the stern of Naomi hissed. "If you return to the Order, you run the risk of getting someone else killed. Do you not remember what Tyki said?!"
"Who gives a damn?" the darker Naomi smirked, resting her arms upon the real Naomi's shoulders. "Let him have a real burial, not whatever crap we can muster with the snow."
Naomi shrugged off the darker's arms. "Leave me alone, both of you. I'm taking him back to the Order, and then I'll leave. Okay?"
The two continued bickering anyway, and Naomi sighed, running a hand through her hair before going back to the fallen Finder's side. She tried to pick him up, at least heave his corpse onto her shoulders, but fell numerous times.
The youngest Naomi sat watching politely the entire time, and after the sixth fail she gave a suggestion. "Don't Finders have a radio thing?"
Naomi was dumbfounded for a second, but then gave a smile, ruffling the small child's hair. "Thanks." Naomi carefully unstrapped a large box from Hei's back, testing to see if it would work. Unfortunately, it seemed that in the fall it was crushed, because all the equipment was destroyed beyond Naomi's capable repair.
Then, the exorcist remembered something. "How could I be so stupid?" Naomi cursed. She took out a purple sphere-like object from her coat pocket, revealing to the young Naomi her golem, Mayakashi. "Please wake up," Naomi asked. The golem instantly obeyed, as if it had been merely waiting to be asked to wake, spreading out thin wings as it flew in circles around Naomi in its usual energetic mood.
Naomi smiled weakly at the golem. "Do me a favor Kashi," she asked. She nodded her head at Hei. "Bring help from the European branch. You know how to get there, right?" The golem nodded. "Good. Now go." Mayakashi reluctantly obeyed, hesitating before flying off. Naomi watched until she couldn't see even the outline of the golem, and then collapsed into the snow.

"How long?" Tyki asked, glaring at a member of his Noah family.
"Like I said, almost done. She just sent for help from the Order, and she's unconscious to a point where I can't meddle anymore."
Tyki turned his full attention to Toraido. "So she's going back to the Order?"
"I'm fairly certain that's among the lines of what I said," Toraido retorted, his eyes closed.
Tyki stood up, brushing off his clothes. "Some people never listen," he muttered. "I'm leaving," he announced.
"You're going to leave me alone with him?" Toraido asked, opening his eyes.
Tyki took a quick glance at his brother. Dried blood in various areas, arms chained to the wall, and eyes covered by messy hair. "Deal with it," Tyki spat, walking out of the room and slamming the door behind him.

Kanda had only been walking down the hall to the training room when a particularly annoying purple and grey golem decided to tug at his ears painfully.
"Hey!" he yelled, trying to pull off the golem. "Get off! Shouldn't you be with...Naomi?" Kanda froze in place, turning around slowly. Instead of seeing the young exorcist that would be near her golem he saw nothing but an empty hallway. Kanda pulled the golem off of him, now completely serious. "Where's your owner?"
The golem projected Naomi's call for help, much like the way Timcanpy would. Kanda's eyes widened, and he ran for Komui's office.

Am I...dead..?
It's so silent here, it's deafening.
Not even those hallucinating versions of myself are here. It's just me, and this silence.
Is this what it's like to feel dead? This numbness, this lack of sound, lack of sight? Will I be here forever?
Did I ever get a chance to attend Hei's funeral? No wait, I collapsed after I sent for help. I should've just sent for someone to collect two bodies then.
I wonder what'll happen to Matthew now that I'm dead...will the Noah spare him now? Or will they kill him anyway, and hope someone else will take his spot?
What'll everyone back home think? Lenalee and Komui would be sobbing, that's certain. Allen would approach my coffin, and he would say something really meaningful, and then he would cry too. Lavi would keep everything in and to himself. Dr Evens, my old trainer, would be disappointed in my lack of effort.
What would Kanda be doing?
