"Damnit I'm so bored," Devit groaned. "When will they get here?.."

Tyki shrugged, lighting a cigarette. "Hell if I know."

"I'm leaving," Devit declared, ready to jump off the side of the mountain.

Tyki glanced at him, taking a drag of his death stick. "The Earl won't be pleased if you do that."

"It's not fair!" Devit said, stomping his foot like a three-year old. "Jasdero doesn't have to be here. Why should I?!"

Tyki paused. "..I won't even answer that. You know why."

Realizing he had crossed over the break of Tyki's emotions, Devit made an attempt to fix it. "I mean..I wouldn't want to have to deal with him instead, but...I'm just so bored."

Tyki flicked the dark ashes forming at the end of his cigarette into the colorless snow. "Just shut up."

Naomi and Hei were back on the move the next day after her...episode. Hei hadn't said a thing about contacting the Chief of European Branch while Naomi was out. How could he bring that sort of thing up?

Hey, you look like you're losing your mind so I decided to tell your overbearing cousin who works for an organization that might kill you for going insane. Want some tea?

No, it was best if he kept that conversation to himself.

There was a pause over the phone, a thick silence that almost deafened Hei.

"..I suspected...for some time this might happen...do me a favor Hei...keep a very close eye on her sanity..."

"Yes sir, but may I ask what you mean when you say you've suspected this?" Hei whispered back.

"Well you see Hei," Komui elaborated. "I know you're a relatively new Finder, but have you heard of the incident of Rebecca Oliver? Thirty-four years back?"

"No sir," Hei said. "Who is she? What does Miss Rebecca have to do with Naomi?"

"Here's how it went," Komui said. "There was- and you must not tell anyone about this, an exorcist from thirty-four years ago, during the time of my parents. She was one of the best around, but very solitary. Then, a younger man by name of Neah came across her one day. The two easily bonded, no two people more met for each other.

"However, Neah was none other than the Fourteenth child of Noah. When this was realized, Rebecca further backed off from the Order, and the world, feeling betrayed for a second time in her life. That's a story for another day though. I don't really know what happened next but next thing you know Rebecca has disbanded the Order, and Neah and Rebecca were on the run. They disappeared for years, and neither returned.

"Instead, on a happy coincidence my uncle Tomison found a child of around five, with not a hint of vision. The child immediately bonded with Rebecca's former Innocence, even more absurd. Then, to top it off, the Innocence changed its form. Although confused, Tomison obeyed the Innocence's wishes, handing it over to the child and teaching her how to wield it.

"When Tomison died, the girl disappeared completely off the Order's sights, and now here we are. Naomi Kurosu. A former blind with a staff. She even mimics a few features of her mother. Gone missing with a Noah, being a powerful exorcist, even the same Innocence."

"So what you're saying is that Naomi is-" Hei was cut off by Komui's serious voice once again.

"No. That's not what I'm saying because even I don't know. If the Order hadn't tried to cover up Rebecca Oliver by wiping her out of the records, then maybe I could've ran some tests to know. What I'm saying is you need to keep an eye on her, there's no telling what will become of that child," Komui finished.

"I will sir," Hei said.

"Don't tell anyone about this, and watch her sanity. Do you understand?"

"Look," Naomi pointed, and Hei looked up from his thoughts. "There's smoke. I suppose that's where they are."

"It's a relief we've finally reached them," Hei smiled. "Hello?" he yelled. "We got your distress call!"

No response came from up. "Maybe they're injured or hurt or perhaps even sleeping," Naomi reasoned.

Hei nodded in agreement.

"They're here," Devit announced.

"I heard them," Tyki said, tossing his cigarette. He cleared his throat. "Alright. Let's go greet our exorcist friends, shall we?"
