"So what's the mission?" I asked, sitting with my legs over the left armrest and head on the right armrest.

"You're going to mess up my chair sitting like that," Komui groaned.

I shrugged. "Oh well. I pity your chair Komui."

"Whatever. Well since your healing took longer than anticipated Lenalee and Allen were forced to begin their mission without you, so your mission on solo is to head to the Black Order's Asian branch and retrieve an item. Once you've done that, come back to headquarters with it. It's a very important item, so do not tamper with it!" Komui explained strictly.

"So I'm delivery now?" I complained.

"Until there's a mission for you. Basically."

"I don't even know how to get to the Asian branch baka," I shot.

Komui grinned, handing me a paper. "Map."

I continued walking through the freezing cold snow, clutching my exorcist coat tighter to my body. I examined the map Komui gave me. "What an idiot," I seethed. "This isn't even a real map!" I tossed the map to the ground, stomping on the poorly drawn map in frustration. I sighed, looking at the purple and grey golem that was designed specifically for me. "Well. Might as well go somewhere, eh Mayakashi?"

The golem, Mayakashi, and myself continued walking. Some time later when it began to get dark out we reached a small inn near a dock and tavern. "Mayakashi," I said simply, holding out my hand to the golem. It flew with ease to my hand, relaxing. I closed my hand gently, shielding it from anyone else's view. I opened the door to the inn, requesting a single room.

"Here you are ma'am. This inn happens to be a supporter of the Black Order, so consider your rent free," the woman smiled.

"Thank you," I replied. I considered asking her a question. "Do you happen to know where the Black Order's Asian branch is?"

She blinked. "You're not from there?"

"No I'm actually from the European branch," I admitted.

"Oh. I can understand now haha," she laughed. She handed me a proper map, circling a seemingly random spot on it. "Go here. You'll see it when you're there."

"Thanks," I nodded, making my way to my room with the map, key, and Mayakashi in hand, and a backpack with my staff strapped to it. I unlocked the door to my room, walking in and setting down my backpack on the bed after closing the door.

I looked at the room, moonlit by a large window at the opposite end of the door. The bed was pushed to the far corner of the right wall, and the floors and walls were a dark wood color. At the front left corner was a simple stand with a candle that could be lit.

I released Mayakashi. "This place should be safe for a golem," I approved. The golem fluttered about happily before resting on my head. I couldn't help but smile as I opened up my backpack, taking out my sleepwear, which was really just a cotton kimono that Komui had supplied me, thankfully in a color other than just black. The main color was a navy blue and the trim classic white.

I took out the trusty, but typically silent piece of paper my vision relied on to see if any changes had occured. I unfolded the paper, finding it still blank. Disappointedly, I began to fold it up until thin, cursive words began to appear, forming themselves into a sentence.

Someone at that tavern may want to see you, it'd be wise to take your golem with you.

The words faded after that, giving no other instruction besides that vague advice. I held in the urge to sigh. "Looks like we'll be heading out then, huh Mayakashi?"
