A sigh passed through Clarke's lips as she once again passed Raven and Finn.

Raven had been housemates with Clarke for a little over six years, the two meeting at the start of high school and quickly became good friends, but thanks to Raven's neglectful family she moved in with Clarke less than a year after the two met.

It was always hard for her to get around Raven, Raven being a year older than her and debatably more attractive. But the one thing about her friend that drove her off the rails was Raven's on and off again relationship with Clarke's first love, Finn.

She had known Finn since they were about 9 and had always been the best of friends, it wasn't until Clarke made light on her feelings that Finn shied away and shortly after began a relationship with Raven, who was unbeknownst to their short lived love affair.

Although Clarke despised their relationship, her love for her friends and their happiness triumphed in the Battle against her own feelings.

"You know you have a room, right?" Clarke scowled as she folded her arms.
Finn and Raven had been publicly making out on the sofa for a little over an hour and Clarke's jealousy was starting to show.

"What, you jealous?" Laughed Finn as Raven got off of him.

"Eck, I needed a shower anyway" Raven shook her head, her long brown hair whipping as she met Finn's gaze.
"I'll be back, Babe" she smiled, kissing Finn on the cheek before making her way out of the room.

Once Raven was surely gone, Clarke relaxed, lightly turning to her friend.
"Do you really have to do that when I'm here?" She queried, Finn brushing his hair behind his ear.

"We're dating?" He responded, gesturing to the door Raven walked from.

"You think I don't know? Every time I enter the room it stinks of hormonal-teenage-sweat." Clarke jitters, shaking her head at the thought.
"Besides, I invited you over to hang out, not make out with Raven all day, can't you two do that at your place?"

"You know we can't, my mom doesn't like Raven" he scratched his head.

"Your mother doesn't like anyone."

"She likes you?" His voice chipper'd as if he was holding back on more.

"She likes me because she helped raise me. She doesn't have a choice" Clarke shrugged, her heart beating faster as Finn leant over to her.

"I'm sorry, okay?"

"For what?" Clarke paused, her brows raising.

"You're always so.. so closed off around me now, you're so hostile and short lived. It's like you don't want to be friends with me anymore."

"Oh, now you think that?" Clarke scoffed. "I stopped wanting to be friends with you the day you kissed me."

"Clarke.."

"No, don't. I don't need your excuses." She cut him off, sighing heavily.
"I'm going to my room."

"Clarke, wait." Finn grabbed her arm as she jumped up from the lounge, not making eye contact as she stared down at him.

"Let me explain myself."

"I'd rather not" she tore back her arm. "You had plenty of time to explain yourself. Explain why you led me on, why you lied to me?" Her voice cracked a She fought back tears. "But no, you ghosted me and started dating my best friend."

"Please-"

"No. Another time. I can't handle this." She huffed, leaving him alone in the living room as she made her way upstairs to her bedroom.

She lumped on her bed, her door delayed as it slammed behind her.
Letting out a soft sigh once more as she turned her head out from her pillow and to her side.
Her eyes quickly meeting with a photo on her bedside table.

Where has her friend gone?

-

A door creaked open and Raven gently cooed to Clarke.
She was still a bit upset, her eyes gently turning to the door as she sat down the picture she then cradled.

"Hey" She hummed.

"Hey." Clarke called back, turning and sitting up, still hugging her pillow.

"I noticed you left, is everything okay?"

"Yeah, fine" Clarke weakly smiled as she pat the space on the bed in front of her.

"You and Finn, is everything okay there?"

"Has he left?"

"Yeah, his brothers getting home today or something." Raven tossed her head. "But are you two okay?" She asked, now sitting beside Clarke on Clarke's bed.

"We're fine. Why?"

"Well, I know you guys are friends and all. I just hope I'm not making things awkward.."

"No, Raven" Clarke smiled, patting Raven's leg.
"We just had a bit of a disagreement. Nothing to do with you."

"Phew" Raven huffed, "because I really like him. I know we've only been dating a year but.. I think I love him."

"Love him?" Clarke scoffed, a wide smile despite the pain building in her chest. "That's a big move"

"I know. But I think I'm ready."

"Have you told him yet?"

"No, not yet. I just wanted to make sure you're okay with it. I mean, if it's too weird me dating your friend I'll call it off-"

"Raven, don't be silly." Clarke shook her head. "You're happy, That's all that matters."

"Thanks Clarke. I knew you'd understand" Raven hummed as she pulled Clarke into a hug, Clarkes mind wandering as her eyes lowered.
