It has gotten dark quick, Clarke, Finn and Raven had been playing an assortment of games in the safety of the retreat downstairs.
Finn had snuck some wine down and the game of truth or dare quickly got interesting.

It wasn't until Clarke had gone to get herself a drink of water, that upon return both Finn and Raven were gone.

She raised an eyebrow, setting down her glass and making her way to Finn's room.
She gently opened the door, finding the two amidst a drunken-makeout session and she sighed.

"At least I had my friend back for a little while" her brows furrowed as she closed the door.
She ran her hands over her face as she began walking through the house to the front door, ready to walk home in the dark when suddenly she was propelled back by another person.
Two simultaneous thuds hit the ground and Clarke jumped to her feet at the sigh of Finn's older brother.

"Oh my god I'm so sorry" she urged as the boy began checking to see if she was okay.

"No, it's my fault, I wasn't paying attention" he groaned, patting his shirt.
"Hey, I know you you're my brothers friend.. Clarke?"

"Yeah, you're his.. brother?"

"Bellamy, and step brother" he raised an eyebrow.
"Last time I saw you was" he chuckled, scratching his head, waving his beautiful black curls. "Probably six or seven years ago?" He shook his head, gently looking her up and down as she raised her eyebrows.
"What are you doing here anyway?"

Clarke smiled, "I came here with Raven but her and Finn are..." she looked back to the door. "Busy."

"Raven.?" Bellamy raised an eyebrow as she tried to pinpoint who she was talking about.
"Raven.. Reyes?"

"Yeah, you know her?"
Bellamy looked taken back, thinking to the one drunken night the two had spent together a little over a year ago.

"I think so" Bellamy laughed, shaking his head and seeing her and his half brother basically forming into one person.
His eyes drifted back to Clarke, a flustered look on her face as it dawned on him what she was feeling.

"Uh, Hey, I got a bit of time to kill. wanna go down stairs and play around of pool?"

Finn's mother was loaded after his father died, leaving them with this mansion of a house, not to mention their 'pool room' which contained little more than an actual in ground-inside pool and a pool table.
"Why not" she smiled, having nothing better to do but wait until she could be taken home.
She followed him downstairs as he readied up the pool table.

"Have you ever played before?" Bellamy queried, his fingers running through his hair, brushing it out of his face.

"Yeah, I'm not that good.." Clarke scratched her arm, watching as Bellamy neatly ordered the balls, his dark brown eyes flickering up at her.
"Have you?"

"All the time" he smiled, Clarke taking extra notice of the muscles on his arm. "But don't worry, I'll go easy on ya" Bellamy smiled the corner of his lip curling as he handed Clarke a pool cue.

Their hands gently touched as she took it from him.
The two played a few rounds, to Bellamy's astonishment, she was good.

After Clarke had won their final round, sinking her last ball with a laugh as she held her cue with both hands, smiling up at Bellamy.

He turned to her, leaning on one side, "I thought you said you were no good?" He smiled.

"It seems I may have lied a little bit" Clarke nodded, a smug look on her face breaking to another gentle laugh.

Clarke swayed, placing down her cue as the downstairs phone rang.
Bellamy perked up, heading over to the phone as Clarke decided to sit down, staring out the large window opposite the pool.

Bellamy unhinged the phone, pressing it to his ear.
"Hey man, where have you been? You were suppose to meet up with us an hour ago!" The annoyed voice of Murphy groaned from the other line.

"Sorry, man. I guess I got a little.." he huffed, turning and facing Clarke as she gazed off.
For a moment, he was lost as if in a trance, this stranger from his past, this girl. It was as if the longer he stare at her, the more fulfilled he would feel.
"Distracted." He finished, letting out a short yet deep exhale.
"Look, ill just catch up with you guys tomorrow, alright? Yeah, later" he finished, hanging up the phone and making his way back over to the girl.

"You if you had to go you could have just told me" she began, raising an eyebrow as she turned to him. "You don't have to stay here and keep me company."

"Maybe I didn't want to leave.." he called, staring off in the same direction as her.
"Maybe I was having fun with you.."

"Really?" She queried, a hunt of insecurity showing as she turned and faced him.
"You were having fun with me?"

"I was." He turned to her, smiling as he watched her lips curl.
Clarke laughed softly, but in heart as Bellamy's brow furrowed.
"Why's that funny?"

"I'm an overachiever." Clarke nodded, "I focus on school, studying, my future.." she swayed her head, "no one thinks I'm fun."

"Well.. I don't know what to call this then" Bellamy's smile seemed unbreakable. "You're enjoyable"

"Enjoyable?" Clarke giggled.

"What now?" Bellamy softly chuckled.

"Nothing.." Clarke hummed, her eyes fixing on Bellamy's, the two seemingly caught in a trance.

Raven pulled off of Finn, her eyes wide.
"Clarke" she gasped, "What? What, what is it?" Finn jumped as Raven got up and pulled her shirt back on. "I promised her I wouldn't ditch her like this." Raven shook her head.
"I'm a terrible person-"

"No; it's my fault. Let's go find her." Finn scratched his head, grabbing his own shirt and pulling it on as the two made their way instinctively downstairs.

Finn saw them first, Bellamy and Clarke sitting with each other on the floor. Clarke's legs crossed as Bellamy's spiked up and sat one side of her, his other leg crossed like hers as they invaded one another's personal space.

Just seeing Bellamy that close with Clarke hurt Finn, a deep, bubbling jealousy formed in the pit of his stomach.

"W-What are you guys doing down here?" He jittered, interrupting their talk.

"Hmm? We're just hanging out." Bellamy called, getting up and helping Clarke to her feet.

"It's getting late, I think we should head off." Raven hummed, a slight cheer as she saw how close the two seemed.

"Alright, I'll be right up." Clarke called as Raven danced away, grabbing Finn's hand and leading him upstairs.

"Hey, uh. I had fun" she shrugged lightly, tilting her head as she stared up into his deep, brown eyes, Bellamy staring right back into her ocean' blues as they sparkled in the dim light.

"Yeah, we should do this again sometime.." Bellamy spoke quietly as he stared down at Clarke, an unbreaking smile.

Her eyes widened as she broke the gaze, looking down to the floor then back at him.

It was then, Clarke just pulled him into a hug. Wanting to thank him, but finding the words seemed impossible.
She just sighed, his strong arms wrapping around her slowly, for the few seconds it lasted, she felt the safest she has been in years.

She pulled, smiling as she went to follow Raven upstairs.

Bellamy watched her leave, his smile fading as his brows furrowed.
He was so out of character.
