She was nearly in tears, the stress and anxiety clawing through her skin.
She had put baby Emma down to bed, hoping she'd stay asleep during the encounter but it was a high hope.

Her arms trembled as she stared at the front door from her couch, seeing the passing lights of cars through the small glass pane. She knew it was inevitable, she knew she should have told him sooner, but the worry that plagued her mind, the thought of his future and how bright it was without her in the picture.
She was beating herself up, almost so loud in her own head she barely heard the knocks on the door.

She got up, making her way to the front door as tears streamed down her face.
The door opened, and there he stood. He'd seemed taller, his hair was longer and he was more tan, but the look of distress on his face tore a hole in her heart. The two practically leapt at each other, so desperate to hold one another as Clarke began to cry. He heard her sobs, hugging her tighter as he fought back tears himself.

"I love you, Bellamy." She spoke, jittered words, refusing to face him. "I love you.."
her words were what broke the dam, causing tears to trickle from his eyes as he laid his head against hers.
"I never stopped thinking about you, I never wanted you to leave I..."

"Clarke.."

"No, I.. I did something bad." She sniffed, pulling from him as her tears eyes met his. "I did something so bad I.. I know you won't forgive me,.."

Fear penetrated his sad mind as she slowly pulled him into the apartment.
"You're.. you're scaring me.." he huffed, wiping his tears away as he began scanning her apartment.

"I.. I don't know how ... I don't know how to tell you this.." she huffed.

"Just, just start from the beginning.." he sighed, lightly closing his eyes.

"I..." she sighed, shaking from fear. "I didn't want to ruin your future. You have such an amazing life ahead of you, I knew I'd ruin it but I.. I just couldn't.." she sighed.
"One moment.."

His anxiety was through the roof as she wandered from the living room down the hall, only to come back moments later, cradling a toddler. A row of thick, curly blonde hair as she clung to her mother, sleepily.

Bellamy's eyes widened, meeting with the child, then tossing to Clarke. He was frozen, at a los for words.
"Clarke...." was all he was able to say.

"Her name is Emma." She muttered, tears once again falling from her eyes. "She's sick."
