"It's fine, really.." insisted Lexa as Clarke threatened her with a damp rag.

"Oh stop wining and come here." Clarke inspired, placing her hand around the back of Lexa's neck, pulling her towards Clarke as she began cleaning her wound.
"God, you look like you were fighting a tiger." Clarke groaned as she gently wiped the blood from Lexa's face. Since she'd previously seen her, one cut and a black eye turned into three cuts and a black eye. It had been obvious Lexa had been in some fights, but why was beyond Clarke's  wildest dreams.

"I don't need you looking after me, you know." Lexa retorted, "I can take care of myself."

"Of course you can" Clarke jeered, "that's why you show up for dinner an hour late and with a bleeding face."
Lexa just rolled her eyes in response, pulling from Clarke as she walked over and sat down on her couch.
"Mind telling me what's happened to you?"

"I do, actually."
Clarke's brows furrowed as she walked over and sat beside Lexa, one leg crossed on the couch as the other dangled freely off the edge. "I know we just met, but you can trust me." Clarke insisted, gently placing a hand on Lexa's arm.
Lexa quickly pulled away, a deep sigh cleaning her body as she fought through her choices.

"I'm fine, it's just.. " she tried, "I don't want to talk about it."

"Thats okay." Clarke hummed, trying to lighten the mood, "I'm here when you need to."
Lexa weakly smiled, her eyes quickly flickering up to her new friend.

"Anyway, care to tell me why you were at the park all alone yesterday?" Clarke questioned, taking a sip from her glass of water as her eyes lay fixed on Lexa.

"I just needed a place to sit and breathe." Lexa nodded, trying to conceal her motives in the most positive light, "the park was quiet. Peaceful. It was just something I needed."

Clarke nodded, biting her bottom lip when she sighed. "I'm sorry, I have to ask" she grabbed Lexa's attention. "Were you.. running from someone?"
Lexa's brows raised as her eyes turned to the bottom corner of her eyelids, she pondered whether or not it was important, why she cared. But, she stayed silent, not wanting to play the victim card for laying in the bed she made.

Clarke tucked her legs up to her chest, understanding what Lexa wasn't saying. "Well, if you need a place to stay, you can stay here." Clarke offered.

"No." Lexa stated. She had her motives, but appeared to just be ungrateful.
Clarke rolled her eyes, placing down her drink as she stood up. A sway of heavy headed ness swooned over her as she struggled to stand up straight.
Lexa immediately noticed something wasn't right, she followed Clarke, standing up and holding her sides.

"Are you okay?" Lexa asked as Clarke's body went limp in her arms.
Lexa tried to bare the weight of Clarke, not wanting to hurt her as she called out for anyone else in the house, bringing Clarke over and laying her down on the couch.
