Tony had enough of everything that has been going on with Peter. Not letting him in, ignoring him and the fact that he failed to mention to Tony that he was Spider-Man. It was all adding up to the amount of frustration he had for the teenager and one day he was going to explode.

Peter was having horrible days, getting beat up at school by Flash and taking the hits for everyone else to the mental bullying that Flash put through his head about his parentage and how he was an orphan despite Mr Stark adopting him. The physical pain and aches he endured after the nightly duties of being the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. It was all adding up but instead of venting about it he found another way to deal with it, painting.

The art of painting was calming, how he could see and feel the paint gliding along the canvas. It was a surprise that Tony hadn't figured out what Peter had been doing despite the large quantity of new paintings they had acquired around the tower. It had been Steve who got Peter into painting and they both sometimes done some painting together to help calm themselves and chatted, it was what had created their friendship.

Peter had been through a tough day today, the bruises on his stomach and arms showing that lucking Flash being generous enough to miss the face so it didn't create a bruise. The dull aches of Peter's rib cage discomforted him to no end and all he wanted to do was paint his anger away but unfortunately Tony had other plans.

"Hey Peter." Tony called when he seen the curly brunette walk through the elevator door.

"Hey dad." Peter called back a small smile on his face as he tried his best to hide the pain for long enough to go past him.

"Hey hey not today, you need to talk to me." Tony said, grabbing Peter's arm as he walked past the kitchen counters, Peter turned around trying not to wince from where Tony had the hold on one of his larger more painful bruises that Flash decided to inflict upon him that day.

"Listen, I'm sorry but I'm really busy and swamped with homework, it'll have to wait." Peter tried his best to cover up and make excuses but Tony wasn't having it.

"Nope I know that's a lie, you only have the rest of your physics paper to do which is three questions and you're English essay isn't due for another week and a half." Tony said with a small smirk, having caught Peter's excuses.

"Well I got some more homework." Peter said, grabbing his wrist from Tony's grab.

"It can't be so much that you have to do it right now." Tony countered as he crossed his arms over his chest.

"Well I want this done so can this chat wait?" Peter said as he began to walk away, only for Tony to run back up again and grab the same injured wrist a little harder causing Peter to visibly wince.

That certainly didn't get past Tony.

Tony narrowed his eyes at the boy as his other hand reached up for his sleeve, pulling it up gently to reveal the large purple bruise that was forming in the edge of Peter's wrist. Tony's breath was pulled out of him at the sight making Peter grab his wrist back more violently as he vigorously pulled the sleeve down, walking away from the older man.

"Nope Peter, get back here." Tony called out to the boy who only kept walking.

"Peter!" Tony shouted back to the boy who continued to race through the halls but Tony followed him, that was, until he lost him in the maze of hallways.

"FRIDAY, where is Peter?" Tony asked his AI.

"Mr. Parker is in the art room but wishes not to be disturbed." The AI answered coolly.

"The art room why is he in the art room?" Tony muttered to himself as he began on his journey to the art room, providing he could remember where it was.
