Tony was pacing around the living area of Avengers Tower waiting for Nick Fury and the rest of the avengers to get here. Nick normally didn't call 'urgent' meetings and it was getting Tony kind of riled up. Tony wasn't stupid, he had noticed the virus that had been going around sweeping out many teenagers and kids most either being seriously damaged or killed by this strange virus and it was becoming dangerously alarming for everyone.

The virus, so far, had only affected people under the age of eighteen making them all come to the conclusion that for now it was a kid only affecting virus but it was still sweeping out a lot of people so they were having to call a meeting about it. Well that's what Tony's guess on the theme of the meeting was.

When Nick finally strolled in all of the avengers were already seated, someone rather miraculously must have convinced Tony to sit down even though he was fidgeting rather viciously. Everyone knew why he was so agitated, this virus was causing hundreds of children to become sick and he was worried for his intern, Peter, to become sick even though everyone other than Tony knew that Tony and Peter were more than just intern and mentor.

"Is this news on the virus?" Tony questioned as soon as Nick walked in, his gaze shooting up to Nick's own one eyes gaze.

"Yes." Nick stated briefly, his face still a void of emotions.

"Well then?" Tony snapped, worked up about the whole situation.

"So far its only affecting children, there has been a pattern of about fifty children every sixth day getting caught up in a virus over a vary of different places in New York. There is a current total of about three hundred and fifty people that have been affected, about seventy have been killed from the virus." Nick explained as all of the avengers watched him intently.

"It appears that they have been sending people to create a 'gas' virus that they have been putting in the air of a bunch of locations, the traces leading back to a warehouse on the edge of Queens." Nick said, showing the location.

"When are we leaving?" Natasha questioned.
"Tomorrow," Nick answered before turning to face the rest of the group to speak with them again, "I have also called in another recruit who is going to help you."

"Who is it?" Tony asked.
"Spider-Man." Nick answered before turning around and leaving, his feet evenly hitting off of the floor.

The team weren't that shaken up by the news, it wasn't the first time that Spider-Man had helped them out on a mission as an extra recruit and they actually liked the guy a lot but they had no idea who it was and were starting to doubt if Nick did too. He was weirdly quiet most of the time on missions apart form an occasional 'uh huh' or 'on it' across the coms and the wants much to go on then doing voice recognition.

Eventually they just came to the agreement that they probably wouldn't ever know the guys identity and learned to respect his privacy. They had a growing respect for the web slinger and completely trusted him despite the lack of knowledge that they all had on him, so with that, they al dispersed to their rooms after their meeting with Nick to get a good rest before battling whatever they were facing tomorrow.

Peter came swinging through the city as he made his way to Avengers Tower for a new mission, making sure his mask was firmly on and he wouldn't give away any part of his identity before climbing through the window.

He flipped himself onto the floor form the ceiling and looked at all of the Avengers who were getting ready, packing weapons and fixing their suits.
"Oh hey Spider-Man." Tony said, looking over at Peter, "still not getting to know your name?"

Peter just looked down and shook his head.

"Worth a shot." Tony muttered but Peter heard it thanks to his enhanced hearing and smiled slightly.
