*Magnus's POV*

As soon as Magnus entered his apartment, he slammed the door, waved his fingers, and a second later, a glass of fruit martini appeared in his hand. Cracking his neck, he walked towards the couch, sat, took a sip, and leaned back when the balcony door opened.

Staring in that direction, he noticed Lexi limping toward the guest bedroom, and his pulse rose like a raging storm.

"Where do you think you're going!?" He yelled and she stopped in her track, slowly turning towards him, her glistening eyes fixed on the ground.

"Ay... Ma.. Master! I.... My...my leg..."

"Turn to your human form, Lexi!" Magnus said in a calm yet cold tone as he kept the glass on the table.

Obliging, she curled her wings around her body and a moment later, a beautiful 11-year-old girl stood there in a black knee-length dress, shuffling and holding her hurt leg. Tears pooled in her unique blue eyes and Magnus's heart ached, but he wasn't going to let his emotions take over and destroy his stone-cold, uncaring heart. Emotions only cause pain.

"You were not supposed to be seen, was I not clear!?"

"I... I..." She stuttered, trying to stand still, but was not able to because of her wound.

Noticing her lack of healing, he snapped his fingers and blue waves swirled around her wound, and within a second, her natural skin had no traces of the cut.

"Th... Thank you, A... M..Master!"

"Answer me now!"

"I... I... th... that Sha... Shadowhunter..." her tone filled with longing, causing a crack in his cold demeanor, but he composed himself again.

Gazing into her blue eyes that were a shade deeper than ocean blue, he noticed the pain and tears, and he knew that just like him, she must have realized whom he resembled, and even had the same questions as his. But until he doesn't get to the bottom of the truth, nothing's gonna change.

"You need to fix what you've done, Lexi! Clave has already been informed, so I need you to erase everyone's memories about the incident. Am I clear?"

"I... I.. can't erase e..everyone's memories." She lowered her gaze, voice trembling with fear.

"Excuse me!?"

Looking up with tear-filled eyes, she shuffled as their gaze met, and the emotion he had destroyed centuries ago almost resurfaced, almost. "I can... Clave's.. the main problem.. but not everyone.. they're too many.."

Magnus gritted his teeth. He knew she couldn't because she was still in her learning phase. A true Alemon takes five centuries to reach the full potential of its powers, and she's barely one and a half-century old.

"Can you at least take care of Clave? I'll handle the rest." He said in a plain and cold voice.

"Y.. Yes, A... Master."

"Then do it right now, you're dismissed." As soon as she left, Magnus sighed and flopped back on the couch, thinking about the man who had affected his mind, heart, and soul.

*Alec's POV*

Staring at the whirling fan in a transfixed state, Alec softly sighed. How meeting a certain warlock could rekindle the emotions he buried deep inside the casket of his heart, he had no idea. The weird pull when he saw Magnus for the first time, the soft tingle when their skin touched, the voice sweeter than jaggery dipped in honey, it was all too familiar, yet something was different about it.
