"What the hell just happened? You let her go, but that's not what I'm shocked about, you knew her name! You... you both looked like you are close? Are you, Magnus?" He yelled, unable to keep himself calm any longer.

"Y...Yes."

"How?" He shouted.

"She's.. she's my daughter, Alexiane Shadowhunter Bane!"

Alec stood frozen in his place, unable to process what he just heard. Magnus has a daughter! "Y...your da..daughter?" He asked, shocked to his core.

"Yes, she's... mine and Math's daughter," Magnus answered without looking into the shadowhunter's eyes.

Alec closed his eyes and processed what he just heard, sinking it in his mind. He couldn't believe it, the man he loved so much was a father, a liar, and a manipulator. He felt like his whole body was numb, he couldn't recognize the man standing in front of him, it's like he was talking to a stranger and not the person who was supposed to be his boyfriend. That's when a sudden realization hit him, and he looked at the warlock.

"It was you, the whole time, you plotted everything. If it hadn't been for fixing the wards that day, we wouldn't have become friends and...!" He sighed. "I would've never seen you in that way, we wouldn't even have met outside the business. Or wouldn't have met in the first place!" He stated, having no emotions in his voice or on his face.

Magnus looked up to meet the eyes of the shadowhunter, and the cold look in them made him shiver to his core. He gulped. "I.. I'm sorry, Alexander. I really am. I.. I was so desperate to find answers that I never gave a thought to what I was doing. I know I've done unforgivable things. But I... I just..." He trailed off, not knowing how to form words for the emotions he was feeling. The guilt of his all wrongdoings weighed heavily on his heart.

"I trusted you, Magnus." Alec's tone was flat with no hint of emotion, and the way he spoke made Magnus hang his head low with shame. "I trusted you more than I trusted my own family, I told you things I've never told anyone. We weren't even dating when I told you about Samuel, yet you, you kept things from me, lied to me, tricked me in every step of our relationship. How is that fair, Magnus? You being a father, that should be the first thing I should have known about you. You didn't just hide things from me, you tricked me all along. I feel like I'm talking to a stranger right now. I don't even know the first thing about you, Magnus."

Alec's words stabbed Magnus's heart to its core, and he felt his cheeks becoming wet. For the first time ever, he felt so small, so vulnerable. Not even Math was able to do that. He didn't even know anymore what these feelings were, but it was definitely beyond love because not even a single person existed who could make The Magnus Bane feel so exposed and full of shame. This particular shadowhunter was definitely something else.

"That Alemon, your... daughter, she was in this too? Tricking me and playing with-"

"No! No, she just did what I asked her to! She's.. she also comes under the people I've hurt in all these centuries of denial. I owe her my apologies too."

Alec frowned at that. He didn't know Alemons were capable of feelings, that's not what he had been taught about them. "Magnus, I don't know how you hid her from the Clave for so long, but they need to know. Adopting an original Alemon isn't-"

"She's not an original, and she's not adopted, she's mine and Math's daughter. If you put it in heterosexual terms, Math's the mother here."

Alec's eyes widened at that. "What in the.... how's that possible?" He remembered Magnus telling him that she was an original. 'So he lied about that too, great!' he thought, then looked at the crying warlock.
