DEATH GRIP: CHAPTER TWELVE

"Pwede bang puntahan muna natin si Lance? I haven't seen him yet since I've arrived here." I requested as we pave our way along the corridor. Leanne and Clarence agreed and lead the way.

Silence covered us as we walk. Hindi pa din maalis sa isip ko ang mga nalaman ko tungkol sa mga magulang ko. I'm so happy, but at the back of my head, there's something that tells me na hindi dapat ako masyadong maging kampante. I should know na hindi ko alam kung saan sila pwedeng makita. Besides, even the Supereminent doesn't know where my parents are pano pa kaya na ako lang kung magtangka man akong hanapin sila? This would be a very difficult thing for me.

The other thing that keeps on bugging my mind is Ma'am Badufalsa's behavior whenever I am around. She seems to be distant from me. I wonder why.. para syang may tinatago sakin.

Leanne and Clarence suddenly turns left and so I followed. Clarence had open a door and the cure center welcomed us. Three beds are occupied by three persons while the other remains empty. Mabilis naming nilapitan si Lance ng mahagip ng mata namin ang pwesto nya.

He's lying with white blanket on top of his body. Madaming maliliit na sugat  ang nasa muka nya and his lips and an eyebrow was severely wounded. I turn to look at the Wilson twins. They're also lying on the bed beside Lance, with their eyes closed. Unlike Lance na madaming injury, walang masyadong sugat si Bella bukod sa gasgas sa muka while Red has a big cut on his forehead. All of them look very pale. Yung mga labi nila kulay violet na parang dehydrated.

"G-ganyan ba ang itsura pag inatake ng Seulas?" I asked under my breath tsaka tiningnan si Leanne at Clarence. Both of them are looking on Lance.

"Yeah, they'll suck your soul until you die at buti na lang dumating si Master Badufalsa to come over and help them fight, kundi.. baka wala na sila." Said Leanne.

"Bakit ba kasi sila nagpunta pa sakin? Hays, nakakainis--"

"Nagpunta? Nagpunta sila sayo?" Clarence asks, interrupting my statement. I just nod innocently.

Kaagad naman silang nagkatinginan sa isa't isa gamit ang nagtataka nilang mga muka as if something's wrong. I felt my eyebrows frowning.

"Why on earth are they going to see you?"

The next day, bumangon ako ng hindi alam ang gagawin. Wala pang araw pero gising na ko waiting for Leanne to wake up. Sya lang at yung dalawa ang pagasa ko to survive here, jusko. Napatingin ako sa pintuan ng makarinig ako ng marahang katok. Kaagad naman akong lumapit para buksan yon.

Master Alfina's soft features came to my view. I expected her shock face because of my presence here pero mukang alam na nyang nandito ako.

"Hello Stacey. Pinadaanan ka sakin ni Master Badufalsa ng mga gamit mo when I went to Chattelspum to buy things. Eto ang para sayo." She said handing me a dirty white cloth sack filled with overflowing random stuffs. I blinked.

"A-ah Master Alfina, wala po akong pambayad---"

"Shh. Regarding that, you must see Master Badufalsa before you went to the foyer. Goodmorning." She interrupts then walks away. Napatingin na lang ako sa likod nya with my shock and confuse face.

One hour had passes and I together with Leanne are now heading to the foyer where Master Alfina told me to go after seeing Ma'am Badufalsa. Dun daw kami kakain before the class start sabi ni Leanne.

According to Ma'am Badufalsa, as long as the lif medals of my parents are whole, they are alive. Lif medals of griptons can be found in Intactum Court together with their important possessions such as money, gold, identification papers, etc. The thing is, hindi ko alam or ni Ma'am Badufalsa kung buo pa ang lif medals ng mga magulang ko..
