It was later the afternoon and everyone was back at the house.
After that episode in town Josh decided to come back home.
Even if it looks like nothing happened to Maya something certainly did.
But what?
He went to go check in her to see that she was taking a nap.
He closed the door and went back in front to where Lucas and Riley was busy watching TV.
"What happened with Maya?" Josh asked.
"Everyone got a fright when they armed men came," Riley said.
"You don't know what I'm talking about. She didn't get a fright Riley. She froze. Like she was in a total different way world. She didn't react to anything," Josh said.
"Okay that is weird. Did she snap out of it?" Riley asked.
"After awhile, yeah. I basically had her in my arms and she didn't react at all. Why would she do that?" Josh asked.
"I don't know," Riley said and realized what Josh had said.
"Whoa. Why did you have her in your arms?" Riley asked.
"Because she just stood still. She didn't move Riley. It took her long to come back from wherever that entire incident took her. Long enough for me to worry," Josh said.
"Aren't you overreacting?" Lucas asked.
"No I don't think so," Josh said.
