It has been a couple of days and now Riley is officially in her second trimester which was very exciting.
She was starting to show a baby bump and it was just the cutest thing.
She never did realize she would love being pregnant so much that she would burst.
But Maya hasn't been herself lately.
And whether it was Riley or not someone was going to find out what is going on with the fifteen-year-old.
"Everything okay?" Riley asked as she sat down next to Maya.
She was just busy playing with her guitar.
Nothing special but what she didn't realize is that the song she had pulled up was something she wrote a long time ago.
"Yeah I'm fine. How are you Miss Thirteen-Weeks-Pregnant?" Maya said.
"Stop pulling that up. I feel so embarrassed now that you know. How did my uncle take it?" Riley asked.
Maya and Josh hadn't spoke to each other since that day and it was eating on Maya knowing she is just ignoring him.
But she thought it was best since it was his niece.
"We haven't spoken since Sunday," Maya said.
"How come? You guys were so close I could say you spoke every day."
"It's not because of your news. It's... I just realized all over again that I'm not sure how I feel. Maybe it's my imagination," Maya said.
"Do you like him?" Riley asked.
"Weird question to be asking. But yeah. I think I do. I really think I do. But there is way too many complicated stuff involved," Maya said.
"Like?" Riley said leaning forward.
"Too much. He's your uncle to start with. I don't know. I just don't know where my heart is," Maya said.
"You'll figure it out. Okay pregnancy made one thing clear. I need a nap."
"Think I'm gonna go sit outside. Have a nice nap," Maya said and went outside.
