It was two days later as well as Friday.
Maya was seeing forward to the weekend finally being able to just relax a bit but also not.
It also means that Riley is going to nag a lot and she doesn't have the strength for that.
Maya and Josh was at Topanga's while Josh tried to help Maya prepare for finals which was in a bit.
He tried explaining the math to her when he saw her father.
"Can we talk?" Kermit asked causing Maya to look up.
"Dad I don't have the energy to..."
"I don't want to fight. I came to say goodbye. I'm going back to Manhattan. I'm sorry I disrupt your life," Kermit said.
"You didn't. But you can't expect me to forget. I got hurt really badly and I will never just forget. But I know that it had to happen to make me who I am. For that I am grateful."
"Whenever you are ready you know where to get me. Take care of my daughter, okay?" Kermit said and Josh nod
"Of course Sir," Josh said and Maya smiled.
"I really am sorry for what I did to you," Kermit said and then he stepped out the bakery.
Maya sat back down realizing that nothing is as it seems.
Her father is gone?
Once again.
"You okay?" Josh asked and Maya looked at him.
"Yeah," Maya said giving Josh a deep, long kiss.
She was so happy with her life and she will always be.
She just has to figure out how she is going to deal with everything.
