Maya waited at Topanga's which was dead quiet.
Not a good sign for Topanga but obviously it is for Maya since she didn't want too many people.
Shawn entered the Café and sighed.
"Not this."
"Shawn please. I don't want to fight. Can we please just talk this thing through?" Maya asked.
"I don't like this relationship," Shawn said.
"Why? You know Josh. You saw him growing up," Maya said.
"How do you know he isn't going to hurt you?" Shawn asked and Maya shook her head.
"That I'll have to risk. If I'm okay to be afraid of that my entire life I can forget about ever finding happiness. I need to risk something. And I think I want to risk my heart. I love him."
"Okay. I get it. Clearly you guys are sure how you feel. But is your mother really fine with it?" Shawn asked.
"She thinks we're gonna get married and have kids in the future. We are absolutely happy. But I'll love to have your support," Maya said.
"Then you have it. Doesn't look like you're gonna let me stand in your way anyway."
"We love each other very much and I can't imagine my life without him," Maya said.
"Okay. Then I except it. I hope you know what you're doing," Shawn said.
