Everything Happens For A Reason

Peter always wondered why everyone around him dies. For example, his parents Mary and Richard Parker died in a plane crash when he was 5. His Uncle Ben died when he was 15 (I don't know this for sure I am just guessing) and now it was is Aunt May. The woman who raised him since he was just 5 years old and never left him... until now. Peter never knew why everyone he loves dies. Peter shuts everyone out making sure they were safe because to Peter being friends with him comes with a contract, and in the contract means you die.

Tony lost his mother and father when he was in his twenties (again guessing) he loved his mother so much and never wanted to lose her. His father not so much. But he carries this pain with him every day. When he met Peter Parker he found something to look forward to, a way to be happy, and a way to make his mother proud. Tony's world revolved around Peter. Tony had a soft spot for Peter. He loves Peter like he was his own son. But one day Peter just disappeared. Tony was devastated. He became a mess. He tried to hide it but everyone knew Tony isn't the same with Peter gone. Tony knew something was wrong with Peter and searched for him every day knowing Peter needed someone to be there for him. And that is exactly what he is going to do.

*Time Skip*

Tony stood in front of Peter's Apartment door thankful he had the smarts to ask Peter for his address. He knocked a couple of times but there was no answer. Tony being the worried father... I mean mentor opened the door using his Ironman suit. Once he got inside he saw Peter sitting on the couch looking at Tony with red, puffy eyes showing he had been crying. Tony's heart broke the second he saw Peter. All he wanted to do was run up to Peter and tell him everything is going to be okay. But they both knew it wasn't.

"Bambino... what's wrong?"

"Nothing, Mr. Stark. What are you doing here?" Tony grimaces at the formal name, Peter had started to call him Tony a while back. But he knew not to question it.

"Don't change the subject, bambino. What happened? Where's Aunt May?"

That's when Peter broke he ran to Tony's arms and sobbed into the billionaire's suit.

"She's gone!"

"Oh, bambino..."

"I don't know what to do!"

"Stay with me," Tony said completely serious.

"What?" Peter says as his cries soften as he looks up at the billionaire.

"You heard me, I am not leaving you by yourself."

"Thank you, Tony," Peter says while hugging Tony.

"I know you miss her but as you go on you will learn everything happens for a reason."

Tony soon adopted Peter making him Peter Benjamin Stark.

A/N: I just thought of this because of Beetlejuice The Musical... it was suck in my head...
