The End Of The Line

The Rogues were back in the Tower after Fury suggested they talk it out. More like demanded but it's Fury and you can't just say no to him. Except for Peter, he just straight up didn't pick up his phone call. Then again, it's Peter we are talking about. Anyways! Peter was forced to come to the meeting because he was in the fight. Fun. The room was filled with grown adults pouting like children. Except for Natasha, Peter, and Rhodey because they know how to act their age. Natasha felt bad for what she had done and apologized to Tony, he of course accepted and everything went back to normal for the two of them. She also had gotten to know Peter and called him ребенок паук (baby spider) and he called her мама паук (mama spider). Rhodey just had a thing we like to call common sense. Bruce, Thor, and Clint weren't there because Thor and Bruce weren't involved in the Civil War and Clint retired for good.

"I don't mean to interrupt your pouting but is anyone going to speak up? Nat said.

"Natasha is right. I don't mean to be rude but why is there a child here?" Steve said.

"Because this 'child' is Spider-Man," Peter said, crossing his arms.

"Tony you let a child fight!?" Steve yelled.

Tony flinched at Steve's yelled and shrunk in his seat. He would frequently have nightmares about the Civil War mostly about Steve killing him. He could never trust that man after that fight. Because he truly felt that Steve was going to kill him with the Shield.

"Hey! Don't you dare raise your voice at him!" Peter roared.

Everyone looked at the teen in shock. Nat was proud of her ребенок паук.

"Peter it's okay-" Tony said, trying to calm down Peter.

"No, it isn't," Peter says softly to Tony before turning to Steve with a fire in his eyes. "You don't get to judge Tony's decisions. Do you even feel guilty about what you did? You are Captain America for crying out loud, you are supposed to fight for the innocent not fight the innocent. Did you ever wonder who got Tony out of the cold and back home? I did. His son. I had to come and find a shield lying on the floor with my father lying on the ground with a shield-sized cut in his arc reactor. Do you remember when you plunged your shield into his arc reactor? To you, it might have been nothing, just finishing a fight so you can go, but to him, he thought you were going to kill him. He thought that he would never see his son or wife again. And this is is not just about Steve although it mostly is but what the hell where the rest of you thinking? The fight was unnecessary. You were acting like a bunch of children. Did you even read the accords correctly? They were completely fair because Ross didn't make them Tony did. And Ross was right for once you needed boundaries. Sending Wanda into that mission was a wrong move. You mostly made that choice because Tony wasn't there. She was learning while on the job. You also moved into a threat that could have easily been handled by Shield Agents. That was not an Avengers Level threat. An Avengers Level threat is something that cannot be handled by Shield you are the last resource. You are all supposed to be heroes but all I see are a bunch of wannabe's sitting there, pouting like children because your heads are far too up your asses to realize you are in the wrong."

Everyone opposite of Peter looked guilty.

"Although, Bucky isn't to blame. I know you didn't want to kill dad's parents. You were being controlled. Dad understands that. We all do. It isn't your fault," Peter said, smiling at Bucky.

Bucky smiled back at Peter.

Nat, Tony, and Rhodey left (T'Challa wasn't there). Peter turned to leave but looked towards Bucky.

"If you want to come with us, you can it's totally up to you," Peter said.

Bucky stood up and walked towards Peter and gave him a hug.

"Thank you, Peter," Bucky said.

"Everyone deserves a second chance," Peter said.

"Bucky, what are you doing. Till the end of the line, remember?"  Steve said.

"And this is where the line ends, Steve."
