Would anyone care if I'm gone?

The question Peter asks himself everyday. His thoughts roaming free. If you looked at Peter you would see a happy boy, ready to take on the world. But if you look closely, you can see a broken boy. His eyes ripped of happiness and a fake smile he's tired of putting on. But people want to believe you're happy so they ignore the clear signs. Then there is no one to save you from yourself. But when are you truly okay? There is no right answer to that. Peter has learned that over and over again.

Peter's POV

I walk the streets of New York for hours. Not knowing where I'm going. I end up at Stark Tower. I flinch at the bad memories. Tony had faked it, wanting a good image from the press because a depressed orphan is a great image booster. I quickly turn back and walk to my apartment. Aunt May had died from cancer a while back leaving me alone. I don't blame her, living with me must be exhausting, just ask Tony.

*Time Skip*

I walk into the apartment heading towards my room. I open my closet and see my Spider-Man suit. I quickly put it on and swing away.

I find myself on top of a high building over looking New York.

"Peter, it seems you have a high heart beat, would you like me to notify Mr. Stark?" Karen says when I finally realized I am crying.

"No thank you, Karen."

I continue to cry not caring if anyone saw me. I walk towards the edge. As I walk closer I feel something pulling me. As if someone was pushing me toward the ledge. I finally reach the ledge. Nothing was stoping me from jumping.

"Peter?" A familiar voice calls out.

I turn around to see Mr. Stark.

"Mr. Stark? Why are you here?"

"I could ask you the same thing."

I scoff, "Since when do you care?"

"I do care, Peter."

I scoff again, "You never did, you said it yourself. What do you need the press to believe you help anyone other than yourself?"

"Peter, it's not like that..."

I finally snap, "You are meaning to tell me The Tony Stark didn't use a orphan as a image booster and telling him that everything he started to get to know was a show!? You knew I had trust issues and a thousand other issues but you neglected that fact at left me like everyone else in my life."

"Peter, please let's talk, get away from the ledge."

"No. I want to be free from all this pain. All the pain that you caused." I turn my back facing Tony.

"Peter..." Mr. Stark says stepping closer to me.

"Get alway from me!"

"Peter, just get away from the ledge," Mr. Stark says stepping away.

"No."

Jump

Just do it

He won't be able to stop you

No one can

You can be free...

Just...

JUMP

And I do just that
