Peter followed these rules every day only showing how he really feels when everyone is asleep and when no one can hear him cry. One day it became too much for the teen.
Peter walked into the school wanting to have a normal day where Flash wouldn't bully him, he didn't get detention for being 2 minutes late to class, and he wouldn't be ignored by everyone. But Peter couldn't have that because to Peter, that was life's way of saying that he wasn't needed.
After class was over and Flash had stopped beating Peter up he left to go to Stark Tower where he lived after May died. Peter couldn't stand it there he always felt like a burden to Tony and the rest of the Avengers. Peter had made up his mind that day. Peter decided he would meet his parents and he would finally be happy.
Peter spent the rest of his day like he normally would, say hi to everyone, run to his room to do homework, go eat dinner and talk with everyone without raising any suspicions, say goodnight to everyone, and wait until they went to sleep. Once they did Peter locked his bedroom door and went into the bathroom and locked himself in there making sure no one would be able to get into his room to stop him.
Peter quickly took a pill bottle and swallowed all the pills that were left in the bottle. He started to feel dizzy but knew it wasn't enough. He looked through his drawers to find the razor blade. He dragged the razor across his arm making sure he was drawing blood. After a few minutes, he finally felt satisfied. He knew his healing factor wouldn't be able to help him in time so he just sat back until he felt tired.
What Peter didn't know was that FRIDAY had alerted everyone about Peter's condition. Everyone raced to Peter's room hoping they weren't too late.
Once they arrived at Peter's room Steve kicked down the bedroom door and the bathroom door that FRIDAY couldn't open. Everyone went into shock seeing Peter's pale body on the floor, blood surrounding him. Tony was the first to act. He ran to Peter scooping the boy in his arms asking FRIDAY to check his pulse. There was none. Tony broke down, he sobbed still holding on to Peter's body.
A memorial was held for Peter. The world finally knew who was behind Spider-Man's mask. Which was the 16-year-old high school student who was a victim of bullying.
The Avengers were never the same. They would never be after that night.
Everyone wondered why life take away such a happy boy?
Life's a bitch, that's why.
ALTERNATE ENDING: (I felt bad)
After Steve kicked down the bathroom door Tony rushed to Peter's side asking FRIDAY to check his pulse. When FRIDAY informed them Peter still had a pulse Tony picked Peter up bridal style and rushed him the tower's infirmary (which was basically a mini-hospital).
When Peter woke up he found all the Avengers staring at him with watery eyes and bandages on both of his arms. Tony acted first. He rushed towards the boy enveloping him in a hug, silently crying into the boy's shoulder.
"Please don't ever do that again."
"I won't, I promise."
The rest of the Avengers soon joined the hug.
Peter did have a family, he just needed to be reminded that people loved him. Even if he felt as if no one loved him that would never be the case because a lot of people loved him too much to let him throw his life away.
